Romney Surrogate: 'I Wish This President Would Learn How to Be an American'

Team Obama says he went off the deep end

Prominent Romney supporter John Sununu came out with an off-script mouthful during a conference call with the press this morning.

The former White House chief of staff told reporters that President Obama "has no idea how the American system functions," and blamed this on his years spent "smoking something" in Hawaii. But also his time in Indonesia, and in Chicago as a community organizer, an activity Sununu refers to as a "socialized structure."

Sununu added that Obama should "learn how to be an American." He later explained that he intended this comment in relation Obama's economic policy: "The president has to learn the American formula for creating business."

This has all prompted Obama campaign spokeswoman Lis Smith to charge Romney's side with "going off the deep end" and desperately trying to move attention away from questions about Bain Capital. "This meltdown and over-the-top rhetoric won't make things better," said Smith. "It only calls attention to how desperate they are to change the conversation."

Ignorant people will buy it. His campaign has not proposed any solutions or ideas to anything other than "jobs". Lame.

Spin it any blessid way you want but the BOTTOM line is we need to bring jobs back to this country and untill that happens, all the taxing in the world won't solve the problem. Why is this so hard for some to understand???
