FBI's Most Wanted Domestic Terrorists Are Mostly Women

In news that surprises, the FBI shows us that five of its seven most wanted domestic terrorists are women.

Business Insider relays the counter-intuitive news that it's mostly women who are wanted for the crime of "attacking Americans based on U.S.-based extremist ideologies." Below is a list of their names, crimes, and political affiliations:

What do you think accounts for so many women appearing on this list?

    The female is the deadlier of the species! Any man married or in a relationship with one will tell you that. Notice how long these women have been on the list? Their smarter to, a man would have already been caught.

    Yeah, and these women committed their crimes before the rise of the modern internet era and the 24 hour news cycle, the one thing I'll give you is that environmentalist types would be better at living off the grid. Another thing is lack of exposure. When people think "terrorist" they think people wearing religious scarves and not a hardcore hippie. Until today I'd never even heard of these people, then again I doubt anyone on the street can name anyone on the REGULAR most wanted list.

    @Real4WheelDrv I'm just curious(?). Do you feel threatened by the statement " women are the deadlier of the species"(?) or was it that "women are smarter to? Just curious.

    @VCP I'm not threatened at all, I am a kind and loving man and am well educated, it just gives me a warm glow when women make sexist statements about men and aren't called on it...despite what nearly every popular sitcom for the last 30 years has told you, not all men are loud insensitive piggish sex fiends (and except in rare cases, fat guys aren't hooking up with rail thin cover models).

    It must be that the Obama Administration secretly likes the Tea Party. That must be it. What other explanation is there for the absence of any evil, right-wing haters?

    And then there is Leo Frederick Burt- No mention of his motivations but considering the other domestic terrorists in the 1970's, ny guess is he was allied with Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn.

    "Leo Frederick Burt is wanted for allegedly participating in the bombing of Sterling Hall, on the campus of the University of Wisconsin, on August 24, 1970."

    @Thunderchicken something I've been dying to ask...do Thunderchickens prefer being served with a marinade or a rub? I'm sure you're delicious either way I just wanted t....what? Oh...the terrorism thing...yeah you're probably right about the separate list heh.

    My lime chicken marinade

    1/3 cup vegetable oil
    3 tablespoons lime juice (juice of 1 lime)
    1/2 teaspoon grated lime rind (grate before you cut the lime)
    3 cloves garlic, crushed
    1/8 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
    1 jalapeno pepper
    1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
    4 to 6 skinless, boneless chicken breasts

    Combine the oil, lime juice, lime rind, garlic, cilantro, jalapeño pepper and pepper in a blender.
    In a shallow glass dish or zip lock bag place chicken, add marinade and toss to coat.
    Cover and refrigerate for about 1 hour to marinate, turning chicken occasionally.
    Remove chicken breasts from marinade and grill.

    This looks real funky when you throw it on the grill.

    Bahahaha. Been saying this for most of my life. The human may be at the top of the food chain, BUT, the female human is a the very top of that chain. For the young guys who think they are kings of the castle, just wait till that first divorce......

    Most of the people on this type of list committed crimes many years ago. Most of the men have been caught, because men tend to be dumber about doing things to draw attention to themselves. These women on the other hand, have probably all quietly changed their names, gotten married, had kids, and been unassuming homemakers just like Bernadine Dohrn. It's unlikely they'll ever get caught except by random chance.

    Don't separate these people by race, gender or ideals. They are criminals. Period. Start separating and you are no better that anyone that says people are entitled by race, gender or ideals. It goes both ways.

    Oh, now we have domestic terrorist? Next we'll military checkpoints and warrentless arrest & home invasions, all in the name of keeping YOU safe! We might as well go ahead and change our name to the 'United Communist of Amerika' since everybody is on the bandwagon!

    According to the logic presented elsewhere on this site, it would appear that perhaps the FBI is indeed a "Hate Group", and is unfairly-targeting women...who just happen to commit federal crimes. Alert the SPLC.

    I can relate. For a time my best friend was living with me. His psycho, bipolar girl friend was pretty terrifying.
    Now the only thing he has to say about her is, "yeah, I know; you told me so!"

    Who cares about the sex of a terrorist? Shouldn't we just be more concerned as to "why there are any names of terrorist on the F.B.I's Most Wanted"??? Or how about this??? The F.B.I- cannot capture female terrorist" Why???

    Women are more emotional then men. Makes sense to me. This is why this why the emasculation of America is a bad thing. Sometimes hard decisions have to made for good of all, and emotional responses just get in the way. Men and women are different for a reason.
