"...this story which directly contradicts the Obama administration’s first two weeks of their response to the origins of this attack, seems to have generated little interest in the media.

The same cannot be said of Congressional Republicans who are demanding clarification from the Obama administration about the details of the attack that resulted in the death of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three of his colleagues."

It seems that truth has become a difficult to find commodity nowdays.

We have lost good people and our "leadership", until recently, was blaming a video clip on the internet.

Where are the real leaders? Where are the real men?

    My God.

What has become of our country?

well obama and pelosi should not have wasted the millions on sucking up to the muslim brotherhood, instead they should have used those funds to secure the embassy.so i guess using that line of thought obama and crew were responseable for embassy non-securement and for actually paying the muslim terrorists to do their deeds

She may have a point: the House did cut funds for embassy security. "Sec. 2117.(a) Notwithstanding section 1101, the amounts included under the heading ‘Administration of Foreign Affairs, Embassy Security, Construction and Maintenance’ in division F of Public Law 111-117 shall be applied to funds appropriated by this division as follows: by substituting ‘$824,239,000’ for ‘$876,850,000’ in the first paragraph; and by substituting ‘$796,462,000’ for ‘$847,300,000’ in the second paragraph." That's all pretty small potatos compared to the $1.3 Billion that the Obama Administration gave to Egypt.

Although the money was given as 80% military aid, one must remember that the Muslim Brotherhood holds the largest number of seats in the Egyptian Parliment and in effect control $250 million in American Economic and Political Assistance.

That's a shitpot of money to give to some country that is neither an Ally nor an Enemy.

Oh for heaven's sake, poor Nancy has had one face lift too many, she's replaced her brain with her navel! This blame Bush for everything is getting hysterically funny. It's bad enough that Barry has blamed everything on Bush from the Tsunami to the drought, but this tactic has gotten so old and so ridiculous that even some of the mainstream media are starting to look at them strangely when they trot out this tired old excuse. Nancy has been around way too long, she's turning into the Robert Byrd of Congress, she makes no sense and seems to have no clue. It's a pity, but she will keep getting reelected by the nuts out in SF.

"This blame Bush for everything is getting hysterically funny." And it would be if she had done that. She was blaming it on the current Republican-controlled House of Representatives.

But since you mentioned He Who Must Not Be Named, Happy Birthday to the Toxic Asset Recovery Program, TARP, that turns 4 years old today.

@DARSB , gotcha, I was referring to the administration blaming everything on Bush, sorry if I wasn't clear. But you have to admit it's very funny. Obama whines about he couldn't get anything done when he had a filibuster proof majority for two entire years, there was no other way Obamacare, as it is written, would ever have passed otherwise. Have a good evening.

@Tralee That "FILIBUSTER PROOF MAJORITY" meme needs to die. For starters, the GOP tied up Al Franken's win in Minnesota for 7 months. Robert Byrd spent most of that two years in the hospital before he died, and Ted Kennedy was out of action with brain cancer during the same period. If I recall the timeline correctly the 60 "filibuster-proofing " votes were available to Democrats for something like 4 months - and then Scott Brown was elected in Massachusetts.
  • !
@DARSB except it was Franken who tied everything up while the Minnesota Dems found 'new' votes for him.

Must be depressing spending all your time making excuses and blaming others for your party and president's shortcomings
  • !
@Canoochee Glad to see you aren't contradicting the content of the post describing the "filibuster-proof majority" myth. And FYI - I don't have a "party." I'm an unaffiliated voter.

If this is true then it was probably because the house has been trying to stop the current administration from bleeding money we don't have at every turn.

If you really want to look at it that way...then we can point the finger at both republicans and democrats who have been mismanaging and overspending money for decades now. It is "politics as usual" which has gone on unchecked for a long time now which is largely to blame for the current economic woes. No one person or party is to blame, they are all to blame. Until people wake up and figure out that the two party system is killing this nation, things will only continue to get worse.

She has a point about the funding.....but she could have presented it in a much less partisan and inflaming way. Nancy likes being the mouthpiece of the far left....its a role she thrives in. I really hope someone else for the dems gets speaker next go round....but it wont happen.

Last I knew, we didn't have a budget because Harry Reid has failed to bring it to the Senate floor for the past three years. So how can they spend money they don't have? Opps! I forgot, these is government.

she could have relinquished her jet and paid for security for the consulate. for this witch to try to blame everyone and anyone else for this is administration failures is disgusting. even her crazy liberal people in San Francisco have to be getting sick of her by now.

Of course she blames the Republicans. And the Republicans blame the Democrats. The fact is that the two groups will not work together to come to a common agreement on anything. It's like they say to hell with the US citizens and just want to fight.

I'm sick of both parties. They have outlived their usefulness. We need to start over, stop voting people back in who can't make decisions and who only want to stall legislation. If enough of them get voted out and third party people get voted in, I think they'll get the message.
