Obama Raised a Record $181 Million in September

1.8 million small donors bring Prez. close to $1 billion total

Team Obama raised $181 million in September, their biggest fundraising month of 2012. 1.8 million people donated, of whom 567,000 were new donors. The average donation was $53, and 98% of the donations were $250 or less.

The Romney campaign hasn't released September fundraising numbers, but they may also be huge, because the campaign raised a whopping $12 million in the 48 hours after Romney's killer debate performance.

I have always given. But, there is always a but, now that we have Super PACs that gather more money in a day than I make in a year, I see my money I can give as a huge dip out of my bucked and a drop in the ocean compared to theirs. Super PACs have destroyed the input of the Middle Class. (That is the Real Middle Class, not Romney's myth)

I don't donate because I truly can not afford to. I would consider it if my personal situation was better, but with the super PAC's out there throwing barrels of money at it, I really don't feel my twenty bucks makes or breaks either sides campaign.

I haven't donated before and can't say at this point that I ever will. It does amaze me how quickly and easily these CAMPAIGN FUNDS are raised when the economy is in the shape it is in.$181 Million in 30 days plus whatever Mitt Romney has gotten? Keep that up & put it towards the national debt....
