The 2006 class was just about the most liberal in history, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Missouri, Virginia, and no doubt a couple more I'm forgetting elected democrats, all them states're either super republican or slightly republican Seems like somehow we're screwing it up though.... Maybe it's the polls agin...

I'm amazed at people that actually hear the things the republicans say and then look at what they do and would vote for them. It seems you have to be either fairly rich or poorly educated to vote for them. I hope and pray we the people can see through their B.S. and put people in that might actually do something instead of going on about how it isn't their fault and forget all about the horrible things they have done but pay attention to our president who is trying to move us forward and try to blame him instead.

I'm not particularly in favor of either party having a majority, but it seems to me like the Republicans are going to get control of everything but the White House - in layman's terms, nothing happened before, and nothing will happen in the future. One party needs it all these days, and that doesn't seem likely.

Dems have more on the line this election. GOP only needs to gain 3 for the majority. With the terrible job the Senate did with Harry Reid at the helm, I believe it is likely that the GOP will take the Senate and keep the majority in the House. The economic policies of the liberal Dems cannot be defended. They did a poor job and simple common sense dictates that if you do a poor job, you get fired.

So in 2010, when the republicans took over the house and we watched as they focused not on what they promised, but on union busting, abortion, securing entitlement programs for the wealthy, holding the government hostage and ensuring to roadblock anything they did not approve of, its clear their ideology failed, so they need to be fired. Next best thing is ensure they are not allowed power in another branch of the government so they can fail even worse.

Elderly people (not all) in general get very rigid in their opinions, schedules, basically they lack flexibility to adapt. This plays out in their unacceptable social behaviors. They need to retire.

So how is voting for the party that will ensure nothing gets done, wealth is further distributed to the wealthy and supporting the party that has been at the forefront of dividing the country by holding the government hostage and vowing to ignore anything anyone has to say that does not support their agenda undo those things you talk about? If you are capable of rational thought, or not susceptible to manipulation, you would never even consider voting red. As the saying goes, Better dead than red and never has it been more true.

It SHOULD be the Republicans, and then we need to hold their feet to the fire with immediate action if they don't honor their commitment to the lower taxes, smaller government, greater freedom, and growing economy through less regulation that they promise us. We've seen what the Democrats want us to "move forward" to: Lower income, higher fuel, energy, and food prices, greater national debt, more food stamps and unemployment, etc. etc. Basically, the Democrats are telling us less is more, while more is less, and that everything they are doing TO us is "good" for us. We don't want any part of moving "moving forward" towards more of that.
