I like Bill Clinton. I also liked the employment I had and paychecks I received while he was President. I particularly liked not having copious amounts of American soldiers die on foreign soil while he was in office.

Well, Marc Lamont at The Huffington Post is an African-American and apparently one who feels that black people cannot be racist. I have to disagree with him about Elvis, some of the others I agree with. Now, some of the most overrated black people: Oprah Winfrey, Bill Cosby, Tiger Woods, Little Richard... oops... that's racist, isn't it?

It wouldn't be news to some if it wasn't divisive. They've got to make some large group of Americans the antagonists or there isn't anyone to pit everyone else against.

You want to know what really scares these clowns? The idea that we may put all of this race BS behind us and take a stand against them. It's going to happen, too...and I'll be one of those laughing when it does.

Race sells. If the question had just been, "Is Bill Clinton overrated?", I don't think I would have clicked on it. That being said, there is something about him that is so disarming...

Well, my husband and I are certainly enjoying his day off. Clinton is way overated as is Obama. Next in the way of overated individuals is virtually every pop musician beginning with the Beatles. Music ceased to be worth listening to beginning in 1963.

hmmm. an abuser of young women... i don't think so. he never tried to be a role model for young people, but personally, i believe that he'd be a great one. he's a brilliant politician and statesman as well as businessman. not only that, but anybody who can be successful in getting a bj in a busy office in the whitehouse while under the tremendous pressure that the president faces 24 hours a day is truly a man to be reckoned with.

his sex life is absolutely noone else's business.

    @dances-weebles
He lied to the American people , he lied under oath,he was impeached, he was disbarred and was a joke to the rest of the world. His sex life while in America's house is America's business. A serial adulterer, a role model for young people? I don't think so.

Actually, he has one great distinction. He has been rep[laced as the worst president in history by Obama, Carter is third.

@earl give it up, you're clueless.

the three best presidents since fdr are
    1. mr. carter
    2. mr. clinton
    3. mr. obama

stop drinking that koolaid. it'll kill you.

Depends on how you look at it. Overrated as a president? I'd say yes, but I still think he'd be fun to go to a ball game with and have a few brews and a dog. On a completely different thought, what would the UPROAR be if someone like Glenn Beck made a list of the 15 most overrated black people????
  • !
Not even Beck or Church or Levin but any white person. It would be all over the media. He has a right to opinion, as do you about Clinton but I can respect your reason. He really should have included all races in his list

I'd forgotten all about Marc Lamont Hill. For those who don't know this race-shade-bespectacled Liberal moron was "Toure" before Toure came along with his even more outrageous racism.

I've listened to Mark Lamont Hill several times on O'Reilly...I always knew he was a socialist ,but never thought he was a racist (maybe ), but tried to give
him the benefit of doubt. I don't think one black person was on that list...humm.
Racism is always wrong, if you are a black racist , you are no better than a
white racist, and those are very racist comments. Not surprised...

No, maybe Justin Beiber, but he's a young kid, for Gods sake. Hill needs to grow up. As for Clinton, though I'm a Conservative, I thought he was a decent President and will go down as such. I also felt he brought more harmony between the parties, unlike Obama...what Clinton did with his sex life was
not my concern, he did nothing John Kennedy and many from both sides have done, he just did it a little more...and it cost him, but when you play, you pay.

Thanks for voicing my opinion about Bill Clinton. Now Obama wants to hang onto his coattails and make everybody believe he's another Clinton. That ain't happenin'....

Are not leftist writers from huffpo the type of people very concerned about 'hater's and bullying? This just comes off as mean spirited and destructive to the common man. p.s. I was shocked to see on Stossel last night 10/7 that Sustainable Development initiatives have been teaching this kind of hate to college students for a long time - via Second Nature. It is really twisted stuff.

I do NOT agree with Lamont's list...can think of a lot of whites, blacks, hispanics and asians that could make the list though. He should darn well leave Elvis alone though!!

Wonder how he left Madonna in...or Sandra Fluke....or Nancy Pelosi...or Maxine Waters...(oh, she's black, never mind)...

Bill might have been the last "one of the better" presidents that we have had to some, however don't forget that this man proved himself a cheat and liar (like most politicians) while sitting in the oval office. Now I know all the Bill lovers and uber-liberals want to completely overlook that fact, downplay it as a "nobody's perfect" sort of incident, but this man lied under oath and tried to conceal information. He didn't just cheat or fool around in the White House, that is to some extent, excusable, but lying to a grand jury is a whole other issue. To me the man is a worm. However to people like my mother-in-law, he is literally a living breathing god. He is everything right with the world in her eyes. He can do no wrong, and she believes the presidential term limits should have been rewritten so he could always be our president. And there are a lot of people out there who feel the same way. It is dumbfounding.
