lead doesn't matter, its not who has the most locked up now...its who has 270 on election day. Politix users are smart people, don't feed us this fluff excuse of a story.

@Wilberhum -- Agreed, but ALL of these websites have NEVER had Mittens winning. Not ONCE, and I've been watching them everyday since he became the GOP's candidate.
  • !
Polls are an unscientific crapshoot, and any analysis of polls is a crude, futile attempt to cut the crap. The idea of an electoral college map that favors Twitt excites only desperate Republican boobs.
  • !
@Gilbert -- So right, Gilbert. It's scary to think what would happen to this country if dumb azzzzz Mittens gets elected.

Yeah, why would the left be tooting THIS horn? Unless, of course, it's in an effort to scare those who normally wouldn't vote into voting:

" <WHISTLES> HEYYYYYYYYY!!! You guys like all of this free s**t, don't you? And you really don't care about owning guns and Free Speech as long as the gravy train keeps rollin', right? Well if you don't get out and vote, it looks as though that THEY may WIN...and the FIRST thing that they're going to do is take away all of that free stuff that we've given you and leave you to DIE!! So run, walk, take the bus...STEAL A CAR if you have to!! You put us back in, and you know that all charges will be dropped. Do this for us ONE LAST TIME and we'll see to it that you'll NEVER be bothered with this mundane chore again...and THAT'S a PROMISE we'll keep..."

You....you...this scares me to even think it.
You are thinking he will declare dictatorship? And no more voting?
This is a HUGE fear to me.

All the freebies in the world isn't worth loosing our freedom. Yet so many will do just this.:(

Don't put your politics ahead of your religion. Better check on who and what he believes in....that is if you care
  • !
@Takosan Personally, I'd take a guy that believes in Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny if he were for The People and not a puppet...
  • !
@GetAwake thats kind of what I thought. To support someone that believes and brings people to a false God is very scary...good luck

If we have that happen again just 12 years after it happened the last time we need to reevaluate the electoral college. If the majority of voting Americans want someone but someone else gets elected then the system is flawed.
  • !
@Wilberhum surely there is a happy medium to be found. Like the delegates voting by district rather than by state. That should reduce the chance of it happening quite a bit. Don't you think?
  • !
@Capt_Morgan02 IMHO there is just no reasonable way to count all ballots. I wish there was and I hope some day there will be.
  • !
The real story is not who is ahead but what way the momentum is shifting so close to election time. Obama was well into the lead until the first debate but has steadily gained support since then. Obama will have to shift the momentum back his way to be able to win. If Obama does very well in the last debate if could help reverse the trend and put him back in the lead, otherwise i think Romney will keep gaining on him until election day and win the race. This seems like a remote possibility before the first debate.

Irony: Mitt wins the Popular Vote and loses the Electoral College, The entire Right will begin speaking of changing the Constitution.
I would have the laugh of my life if that happens!!
    Dear Santa,
For Xmas all I want is a Mitt loss to the Electorate. Thank you.
  • !
I truly believe that Romney will win the popular vote, but will lose in the electoral college. I see Obama getting Iowa, Wisconsin, and Ohio. Romney can win Florida, NC, and Virginia, and still lose. That's my view.
  • !
This is my wish. I hope Santa brings me a Romney Popular win and election loss.
Because I can't wait to see people flip their opinions of the Electorate. Screenshots are a great great thing.
    Please Santa!!

They're trying to lay the groundwork to steal it........ain't gonna happen.
Most REAL Republicans are already looking to 2016 and won't get dirty for Romney.
  • !
Where were these "real Republicans" during the Republican primaries?
Oh that's right! Doing jack squat to stop it. News flash! Republicans are already getting dirty (desperate also works) for Romney. One just said Mormons are no longer a Cult. Weird, because I swear I saw Baptists just this year striking in Temple Square in downtown Salt Lake City.
When people get desperate, things like honor, integrity and values get tossed out the window. This election year has seen no shortage of that from either side of the two cancers, that feign parties, we are left with.

19 days is plenty of time for either or both campaigns to self destruct, especially now that we're at the whip-up-enthusiasm stage. The more disciplined campaign will be favored but there's no guarantee anyone will be gaffe free.
  • !
I'm hoping they both have a good dose of gaffes. That way regardless who wins, Americans can truly see they got what they deserve. It's the People's fault, for letting it come down to who is slightly not as bad as the other choice.
They should have been demanding better, expecting real results and holding DC to a higher standard. But, as with everything else in day to day living in the US. We all got lazy. And had to be spoon fed our politicians, alongside everything else that is sponged is now due to laziness and apathy.
  • !
Well in the interest of getting rid our addle-pated president Obama, too see an electoral victory for Romney would make me smile for sure. But when that smile ceases to be, i would still be very disappointed. it will have to be y'all who vote for him, cause i say no to both these parties irresponsible tripe that they ram down our throats. Gary Johnson 2012!
  • !
Well when you get Obama on Comedy Central saying in response to Ben Ghazi when you have 4 Americans getting killed it's not optimal

nobody should be surprised when Romney win this election in a landslide
  • !
You want to get an idea how this is gonna go watch some of the lower races Democrats in particular and see how fast they can run away from oBama. I've had the opportunity to do some traveling in last couple weeks in North Carolina and Virginia and have noticed Democrats running for state and federal positions are running ads that make themselves sound like they're from the Tea Party. they are not mentioning anything about Obama in fact the ones that I'm hearing in North Carolina today are actually disparaging Obama's healthcare . and do you know why? because they want to win.
  • !
What!? Politicians will say anything to win??!!!
Get outta here! You are pullin my leg.
Thanks for the news Captain Obvious. Next up, the sun can burn your skin!
  • !
@Fishbone345 here's a news flash for you , tune in Monday night to watch Obama become totally dismembered on stage. by the time its over Obama will be sitting in the corner rocking himself back and forth saying " I got Osama" as the screen fades to black on his career.
  • !
@bsking If by "One of those" you mean someone that's wants the Government reduced, then you betcha!
Both candidates want to increase it, the only difference is how manifests. Socialism or Facism. Go out your X in the right box!
  • !
Maybe people are actually thinking this year. Well, he failed in his first four years, he has no plan for the next for years...these four yrs. of partying and campaigning while Valerie and Hillary have held the forte down, have been exhausting. He needs a rest!!!
  • !
I'm still waiting to hear how Romney plans to keep all the things he swore he would and still manage to cut taxes by 20%. This math system he's using must be ultra advanced, cuz I don't see it happening.
Tell you what, if it happens somehow by miracle, I'll change my picture to one of his laughing memes that are all the rage on the Net right now.
  • !
I think not, and the analysis of the current polls are a pseudoscience at best. However, Mittens might be doing cartwheels in his exuberance over the good looking map.
