Story overlooked current White House staffing practices

Would a Mitt Romney administration allow lobbyists to work in the White House? After all, candidate Obama campaigned against it and President Obama signed executive orders aimed at preventing it. That's the suggestion of a recent Politico Pro story. But it belies one important piece of information: the lobbyists never left in the first place.
The Washington Examiner's Timothy Carney carefully tears the Politico article to shreds. He lists 55 lobbyists associated with the Oval Office in the past four years, and expands on the role lobbyists played in the administration's tenure so far.
