DESPERATE DEM LIBS. IT SHOWS CHRISTIE HAS HONOR. IF HE SCOFFED AT FEMA AID AND THE ADMINISTRATION DOING IT'S JOB, THEN THAT WOULD BE LOW-LIFE

Obama has done one thing right, maybe this will be it, but he has not done anything yet. He only has said that he would.

"Betray" Gov Romney? I don't think complimenting the President on his management of the federal response to Sandy (so far) is a betrayal, looks more like courtesy to me.

I suppose, to balance things, Gov Christie could go on Fox and compliment Gov Romney's handling of grocery bags...

Governor Christie endorses president Obama? Did you watch the last debate? Governor Romney endorsed president Obama then.

@Denizen_Kate thank you, we're leaving tomorrow to go home. 3 days in the hospital is too much. Too much noise & so uncomfortable. But I am happy, we are. Little man is sleeping after I fed him. He's gonna be good. Nothing bad happen in the hospital we're in so I am very thankful b/c of that. One hospital had to be evacuated b/c it lost power and was flooded. That's horrible but I heard that the first responders were fast and handling this. Big applaud to them. My son spent his storm days in the hospital and tomorrow he'll get his first look at the real world and what happened while he was in his paradise.

@MBernard -- Glad to hear it. I saw video of that one hospital being evacuated, which is why I asked. Everyone seemed to be moving with a purpose, like they knew what they were doing. Always reassuring, isn't it?

Since when is speaking positively about someone 'betraying' somebody else? This has nothing to do with Romney, why make it into something it isn't? Partisan hackery at its best.

@VisionVI - Nonsense! The Olympics are not funded by taxpayers. They are almost entirely funded through private enterprise and, gasp, "capitalism." They were in danger of failing until Mitt Romney took over the organization of the games. They turned into one of the most successful and profitable games in history. They were also the economic model for all subsequent games.
  • !
@ccchhhrrriiiss Do some homework the ONLY thing Romney did was go to Washington D.C. and lobby congress for GOVERNMENT money to bailout the Olympic committee.
  • !
@ccchhhrrriiiss Have you acquired Romnesia the republican candidates in the primary ripped Willard for lobbying Congress. for an Olympic BAILOUTT!!!!
  • !
@VisionVI - Again: This is complete nonsense. Is that all you are able to type? You are repeating the same, tired regurgitated propaganda and talking points that are completely made up of outright LIES.

Mitt Romney took over an Olympics that was mired in scandal and turned those games into a profitable enterprise for which most Americans were very proud. Yet, you are trying to spin a free market success story into a need for government bailouts? You are spewing NONSENSE!

It is no wonder that Obama is losing Americans' support! You only defend him through deception, spin and propaganda that is not based in reality!

Chris Christie is saying what a good American would say. OUR President is helping and the candidate is doing what all experts say DO NOT DO... the people affected need cash not canned food. Romney is qualified to be a grocery bag boy but that's about it!
  • !
@ccchhhrrriiiss I know collecting canned food in the wake of a natural disaster is despicable when he should call up one of his Cayman accounts and wire the State of New York or New Jersey some MONEY!!!!
  • !
@VisionVI - Dude...you have "issues." You are whining about a Presidential candidate who is participating in efforts to help those affected by a hurricane. BTW, Governor Romney HAS donated money to the Red Cross. It was in last year's tax returns, Einstein. How much money did Obama -- who is also a millionaire -- donate? Hmm?
  • !
@ccchhhrrriiiss Yeah, right......let's keep the propaganda and politicizing to acts of terror on foreign soil where Americans lose their lives....puh-leeze!!
  • !
@ccchhhrrriiiss Actually, Mr. Romney's tax returns contradict your claim of donations to the Red Cross. From mittromney.com : "The Romneys’ charitable contributions went to their charitable foundation, the Tyler Charitable Foundation, and to tithing to their church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints." The FAQ does go on to mention the LDS church has worked with the Red Cross in the past, but there is no mention of the Romneys donating directly to the Red Cross.

Obama is POTUS right now and he's trying to do right by people. I have issues with the man too, but it is what it is.
This storm is a tragedy and anyone who makes it into something else is an a55hat.

Oh how I wish Christie was running for president. Perhaps in four more years he will decide to run, that is if this nation is still standing then.

I laugh at the Liberal media every day watching their bias for Obama. I came home today and my wife was watching CNN(pro Obama network). In the couple minutes I could stand watching that Liberal propaganda channel, I watched them play the Christie remarks(which were nothing more than stating the obvious of any Politician pandering to the electorate during an election),. Politicians love crisis so they can get their faces on tv pretending to care. Why did Obama not care about the Ambassador's life?
Then the next story was playing back Romney's debates with the GOP rivals talking about the federal Government's role in tragedy.(trying to make Romney look bad). Then the next story was Obama pumping his fists telling how he will make sure all resources are made available to help people. LOL, these networks are cheer leaders for a failed corrupt president. They play no stories at all about the Father of the slain C.I.A. agent who begged for help for hours before giving up his life to help save people while Obama told everyone to STAND DOWN! Please Americans, wake up. I would boycott these News outlets if i could get a list of their sponsors.

So you're concerned about 4 deaths in Libya, but not concerned about about the estimated 61 deaths already caused by Hurricane Sandy and the 20 billion dollar property damage that it would probably end up causing?
It makes sense that the is paying more attention to Hurricane Sandy then to Benghazi. Hurricane Sandy is a far bigger issue then Benghazi. It's the storm of the decade.
  • !
@Mercury34 What are you smoking? Obama had nothing to do with the deaths from the hurricane. He may have been able to save those four lives if he did not tell the backup groups to stand down. Please use some sense.
  • !
no in fact whoever wrote this story is is misleading it's readers. Christie did have praise for Obama but also made it very clear that he was supporting Romney in the election. that's the way the story should have been written.

I've been noticing a rapidly increasing number of articles that 'forget' to mention key points and issues. Like the one about Obama scolding Romney for saying Jeep was intending to move production to China. The thing is they have proven 5 ways from Sunday that Romney was right. Yet Politix still posts it as though there is some debate on the matter. Hell the owner of Chrysler who happens to be Italian released a statement saying that it was their intentions to return production of Jeep products to China. But they say return to China, which tells me they were in China they came home and the Unions put them out of business. Back to China.

It was neither an endorsement or a betrayal. It was good leadership. He earned a measure of respect from me this week. If he ever runs for president this gets me to at least listen to his platform. If it was between him and Obama instead of Romney I might choose differently.
  • !
agreed it was simply the right thing to do. He's hellbent on helping the people of his state. Obama is doing what needs to be done.
  • !
Of course not, it just shows his honesty in giving credit where credit is due. Just because the Obama administration finally did something right doesn't mean he thinks our country can take another four years like the last four.

Remember what Obama said to Medvedev?
“This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility.”

    Translation:
After the election I can give you just about anything that I want and they can't do anything to me.

    Medvedev responded:
“I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir,”

After Benghazi, Obama better obey Christie. You can bet when Christie says "Jump", Obama says "How high?" Christie knows too that Obama has lost already because of Benghazi and he can praise him all he wants if it helps him to get Federal money for NJ. And do it without hurting Romney one bit. Besides, Romney is a big boy and doesn't need Christie to fight his battles. Obama, on the other hand, could use all the help he can get. But it's already over for him anyway. Even Candy Crowley feels sorry for Obama and fights his battles for him after Benghazi. He's finished. Toast. Garbage. Filth.
