That's okay it's been years since Obama answered questions at a press conference and even longer for the Senate to pass a budget. Why should Romney answer questions posed by a bunch of left wing journalists that will do anything to ensure Obama's re election?
  • !
You claim that "it's been years since Obama answered questions at a press conference" so I wonder which part of "Obama has been interviewed on the Tonight Show, on MTV, and in Rolling Stone, among other outlets" did you not understand in this article? Plus, there have been numerous press conferences from the White House press room and Rose Garden in which Obama has answered questions from various reporters who were present. It's amazing how facts just never get past that "liberals bad, conservatives good" bubble between your ears. I'm not a Democrat but and Independent, and I don't much like Obama either, but please try not to lie in your comments here.

@Denizen_Kate why don't you Google, Obama's last press conference. I may have exaggerated a bit but to consider The View or letterman, hell what's the difference he's never asked tough questions anyway by the White House press corps.

Obama lies incessantly. Am I exaggerating?
  • !
@Denizen_Kate Obama lies about republicans and or bush causing the recession, a subject he spews continually in every campaign speech. Yeah I think incessantly is pretty close. Maybe not every sentence but he lies in every speech at least once.

@DominicSarno wait wait wait wait....stop the presses. Are you telling me that a DEMOCRAT said something not nice about a REPUBLICAN? What purpose would that serve, it's not like the two parties compete against each other for political power is it?

I'll let the sarcasm train pass by now without holding it up with my baggage anymore.

It doesn't matter if Romney answers the left wing media's questions or not. The media will still hate him so why should he. The media lost journalistic integrity a long time ago. I learned in the Marine Corps that respect is earned, the media has done nothing to earn Romney's respect.

I say, when Obama answers all the questions that the American people have regarding the four Heroes killed in
Benghazi, then, and only then, should Romney be expected to answer one question. How about leveling the playing field?!

Excellent post, the MSM has been in the bag for Obama for so long. They have rendered themselves meaningless. One paper and only one, the WSJ, at least presents all the facts. One out of how many? is just not enough. No wonder we have a plethora of low information voters. MSM has made sure they get only the information they deem necessary, necessary that is to keep Obama's head above water and get him reelected.

So? It's not like he's in hiding somewhere refusing to speak to anyone. He is speaking his mind at several campaign stops a day. Perhaps rather than trying to force a news story, the press could just listen for a change? They might learn something.
  • !
Exactly! The problem is that the press doesn't want to report on what he says in his campaign speeches, he's way too good. Notice they never write about any of his speeches and they are informative and to the point. Why not just do that? Well, it's too hard to spin and misquote what's on tape.

You consider late night talk shows and MTV hard hitting press and journalism? Romney has been busy answering to the American people at rallies. WHy he don't talk to the press must have sinister motives. How often does Obama have actual hard hitting interviews? You know interviews from those who are obviously not biased towards him.

Watching the news fawning all over Biden's appearance on Letterman I began to wonder how these two, Obama and Biden have so much time to blather away with their left wing buddies while so many people are suffering economic calamity.
  • !
@DominicSarno: The reason that many people are still suffering "economic calamity" has its roots in the capitalistic policies that put us in this mess. Despite the republicans trying to block any and all of Obama's actions, he has actually created more jobs than there are takers - a quick search on Monster identified 725 jobs within just 50 miles of my home. That equates to hundreds of thousands of unfilled positions nationwide. Problem is, these aren't the types of jobs that most people are looking for - those jobs are overseas because using cheap, unskilled labor in developing countries allows companies to maximize their profits and keep their investors happy. When Romney tells everyone he knows how to create jobs and will create jobs, he is lying through his teeth. The majority of folks out of work are unskilled workers and jobs suitable for them are NEVER coming back to the US - hear me? NEVER! Any company would be absolutely crazy to bring those jobs back home when labor is so much cheaper overseas. Besides their investors wouldn't allow it: lower profits = lower dividends. Romney knows this more than anyone - he's an investor himself and also happened to specialize in making companies leaner and meaner. Despite this, he continues his orations, promising jobs he knows won't materialize, giving FALSE hope to those who only have hope to live on.

There is a certain GOP symmetry here. Gov Romney is ducking the press while apparently nobody can get Donald Trump to shut the hell up. :-)

You tell me. Why hasn't Obama answered any questions on Benghazi? Well at least honestly answered them. Romney is not the President he will be next week though. Then i'm sure he'll have every bit the oppurtunity to dodge questions like our entertainer in chief. But i'm gonna bet he doesn't dodge any questions like Obama. I honestly can't say the media has had a hard time finding Romney.

I wonder how the people in New England feel about him swooping in for a photo op in some of the controlled areas, before being whisked away to another campaign stop?

@Decent-Dissent More good news. Romney estimated 30K at his rally in Ohio tonight. Secret Service said 15K, local police say 18K. Condoleezza Rice was scheduled but did not show. Steady stream of people leaving Romney rally in the middle of his speech. Source AP's Steve Peoples: https://twitter.com/sppeoples

Oh thats according to Lawrence O'Donnell... how bout that. now we're supposed to care what an admitted socialist member of Obama's reelection committee thinks about his opposition.

maybe Larry O'Donnell should start asking some questions of the President, other than which hip hop artist is trending upward.... what a joke these leftists are
  • !
@bsking I am unaware of Mr. O'Donnell's membership on the President's reelection committee, and the last time I checked he was still a Democrat. Care to back up your "factually correct" claims?

Do you blame him. Every word the man speaks the media twist and turns into something else altogether. The problem is not the politicians, the problem lies directly with the news media being liars and cheats that hide the news rather than show the news.

After the Bengahzi mess I do not think the news media can be trusted. How can we ever hear another story and not wonder if this is a lie, or some twist on the truth to get shock value stories. Lies of course but call it as you wish. We know the truth.
