And by the way, if pot were legal and government controlled the price would skyrocket and quality would dwindle. Democrats can never get enough tax money to throw away on luxury vacations. Post
u Jun 17 Jackon v No, I wouldn't Crime is bad enough now. We are allowing gays to be openly gay and now they want pot legal. If they allow pot then next we will have crack addicts saying they want their rights too. America is turning into Sodom & Gomorra. I'm like our forefather in God we Trust. I fear God and I don't want His mighty hand against us. God bless the USA!! B1 r1 reply Post
u Jun 17 KentuckyJim v Yes, I would I would totally support it. The main reason being that not only would it bring that cash crop, but also unregulated industrial hemp production, which would be good for agriculture and industry as a whole. We need to cut the red tape and get on track with the rest of the world. As an added bonus it would save us billions in wasted money fighting this harmless stuff and eliminate a big chunk of the drug trade all together, which is what we have been trying to do and failing, ever since we started fighting it. Better to grow it, manufacture it, and tax the whole deal somewhere along the lines of tobacco. r1 reply Post

o Mon F_U_Obama With 80% saying they would support it I'm not surprised that Obama won, even though he doesn't support it in any way shape or form. You would have to be high on crack to give that idiot a second term. B1 @F_U_Obama Post

14 hr donwon I agree with you there KentuckyJim but how do you feel about medical marijuana and recreational use in the state? @donwon Post
Jun 13 donwon v Yes, I would We have a lot of sick people who need it and it would also cut down on law enforcement spending millions to incarcerate ppl for minor marijuana charges! Legalize and decriminalize! Kentucky needs it!!! Its time for a change! r1 reply Post
o Mon F_U_Obama Pot has never cured a single medical ailment since the beginning of time. It just makes people stupid enough to vote for Barack Obama. @F_U_Obama Post
Jun 13 Snuffo_L v Yes, I would Th criminalization of marijuana only profits the criminals and law enforcement while it breaks up families, promotes greater crime and impoverishes all of society. Post

u Jun 13 NobodysFool v Yes, I would it's self exaplanatory. i care when you beat your wife, your kids. i care if you murder. i care if you embezzle. i care if you steal or defraud people to get their money. i care less if you smoke pot. like i said, self explanatory. fact is, on the things i care about, we could imprison most of congress, the president, the major corp ceos of this nation..... interesting stuff, how we see the greatest threat to our community, nation, and future as an herb that has outlasted countless men and governments... brings a whole new meaning to "smoke screen" , doesnt it? ps, read about chiquita bananas if you want to know why it is still illegal. it is called "money launder... o Jun 12 xxxbobby9in4u v Yes, I would I suffer migraine, arthritis, severe degenerative disc disease and acid reflux. From experimentation I know that pot is much more effective for pain relief than the 15 mg oxycodone I am prescribed and or any of the prescriptions previously taken. The highest THC content pot is hybrid grown by the U.S. government. Post

u Jun 11 Trumpet-Dawg v Yes, I would I am a 61 y.o. male that has personally not used this substance in years. I believe it is less harmful than alcohol. People that smoke marijuana (only), do NOT get lung cancer. It has been found that hash oil is very effective against certain skin cancers. We are missing out on the effective uses of marijuana due to oppressive federal laws. Post
u Jun 7 xitilop01 v No, I wouldn't legalizing it is going to put a lot of people out of work.It endangers others on the job. Many kids already smoke it and it is eating their brain cells or something because they are acting very foolishly these days. Post

Jun 6 SergeantTbag v Yes, I would You all realize that it's still illegal because the government and their fat cat fascist friends make lots of money off of prisons and the best kind of inmates are the non-violent pot heads... hell once they sober up they make great slave wage inmate workers too! And that's not even going into the money the make shipping in the drugs and selling the guns to the cartels and the cash the cartels pay to not get stopped at the border... Post
Jun 6 Summer_Nicole v Yes, I would My boyfriend was telling me about this news story he read about a town that was going bankrupt and this women called 911 and they couldnt help her because their money was being spent on busting people who had marijuana and they were to busy doing that and she ended up being raped Marijuana isnt bad theres far worse things that are legal they could focus on if theyde legalize it everywhere it would not only save money but make money is a wwin win situation Post
u Jun 4 meyc v Yes, I would Marijuana should be treated as alcohol and legalized because it is less harmful than alcohol. The tax base should totally balance any budget and become a surplus, as long as politicians stop the wasteful spending and the pork. This way it can be kept from our children and what is legal is less likely to have an impact on society than and can be treated with the same social integrity as alcohol. People who smoke pot are less likely to get behind the wheel of a car and stay home and mellow out. THC a derivative of marijuana is useful medically and pharmaceuticals are allowed to grow and this is predominately the biggest corruption and illegal smuggling of drugs in my op... r1 reply Post

u Nov '12 RobertJHarsh v Yes, I would They need to legalize it and TAX IT. They already tax cigs and booze and they pull in serious revenue, why can't they do the same with pot. Let the people MAKE money on pot sales instead of COSTING us money by putting people in jail for using it. B3 e101 endorsed Post

Nov '12 Calfkiller v Yes, I would There is no way the gov't can rationalize the prohibition on Marijuana when tens of thousands die every year from the effects of Alcohol. There are no statistics, or studies, or evidence to indicate that Pot is anywhere near the level of Alcohol with regards to harmful effects. If you ask me the only reason Marijuana is illegal is because the gov't cannot accurately tax it. Let's look at alcohol, pot , and tobacco. It is beyond the capabilities of the average person to brew enough alcohol, or process enough tobacco so as to support a habit. Try smoking tobacco straight out of a tobacco barn, it'll damn near kill you. Therefore it makes you dependent on purchasing manuf... B1 e23 endorsed Post
