Politix user fsmakati correctly predicted the outcome for all 50 states in the presidential race. He'll receive a $100 Amazon gift card.

As it turns out, Obama beat Romney 332-206. Everyone else who entered the contest predicted a much closer race, or even a Romney win. Most called the election for Obama, at around 280-300 votes. The most pro-Romney prediction was Romney 284, Obama 254.

None of you predicted Obama doing better than he actually did. A few Politixers got everything right apart from Florida, which has gone to Obama, so honorable mention shout-outs to PNWest and lou_evil.

    @LetsAllBeHappy I knew Ohio would go blue. But that crooked ex-ceo that looks like Bat Boy....I thought he could keep the dem voters from voting!

    @PNWest Curious what did America win? Because from my perspective, its crushing taxes, high deficits, a growing taker class of scrubs soon to be the cadres to beat down dissenters.

    @RobertJHarsh America won four more years of a Presidency where the President has the best interest of the country at heart. We reelected a man who got the economy back on track, ended one war, has the other on track to end in 2014. We have a President that believes in all Americans and does not demonize the poor. Your marginal tax rate is lower now than it has been since the 1920's. Far from creating jobs this has only resulted in the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer. I hear many right wingers threatening to leave America. Virtually all of the places that they mention as possible destinations have nation health care plans and most if not all of them tax the wealthy higher than we do here. Not to beat a dead horse but if you don't like it here you are free to leave. I'm pretty sure that 1) you won't because you know this is the best place in the world to live and 2) if you did that America would do just fine without you.

    Not at all!...I just didn't see any reason at all that Romney was getting more support from women, or latinos....I just didn't believe any of that...And the fact that his own party didn't seem to want him....Well, its like I've said...Why would anyone else want him....And finally, Pres. Obama is doing a fine job (especially in the face of stiff republican opposition)---And there was no reason to make a change... And finally everyone is still clearly very angry with the republican party for giving us Geo. Bush....(the Grand Master of this Disaster)---and no one wants to see us go back to those bad policies!

    Hey, Politix! "None of you predicted Obama doing better than he actually did." I beg to differ. I picked Obama to win by 161 electoral votes (or was that 164? I forget). I was overly optimistic. ;-)

    Why is it so important for the citizens to get out and vote on election day when it doesn't really matter anyways? Romney won by popular vote, that means that the majority of the people of the United States of America voted for Mitt Romney yet Obama wins the election. Only 2 U.S. Presidents have ever won by popular vote and that was only because the Electoral College agreed with the U.S. population. I say they have done a crap job of choosing our presidents for us it's time we choose for ourselves, after all, we are the people of the United States.
    Many of our local small business will be forced to shut down because they won't be able to financially afford to meet the government's requirements for ObamaCare, my mother will be out of a job, her company already made the announcement. My husband wants to quit his job now because ObamaCare will be taking his hard earned money, that we need, with a steadily increasing rate. My diabetic mother won't be covered by ObamaCare even though she has diabetes and will be out of a job because of ObamaCare. Obama raised our deficit instead of lowering it and he his taking jobs instead of making them.
    This country was founded by the people, we should choose our own presidents. This country was founded with God at the fore front, yet we have a president who doesn't believe in God, that's a touchy one don't hate me for it. Obama is a Communist not a Democrat.

    Jan_Matt. im sorry to say but if you cant get a nation wide fact right about who won the popular vote, the rest of your discussion doesn't add up to much. As you are clearly unaware,President Obama won the popular vote with an estimated margin of about 2.4% or close to 3 million votes. As for ObamaCare, Id like to comment on it but there are so many errors in your statement i don't know where to begin. And please look up the definition of communist before you go accusing anyone of it. You seem to be a very religious person and that clearly has shaped your political views which is what America is all about, to each their own. But son, your facts are totally wrong. Great reading your post though.

    The best revenge is to allow Blacks, Latino's, and White Liberals to actually have what it was that they voted for.
    A true Obama economy.

    Market went down the last two days for 1 reason.......rich people locking in their gains for this year because they know their taxes are going up(both income and capital gains). They will soon begin to buy back in and the market will take off.

    No, we will never be surprised again. They did all the checking and what a shock, the welfare vote elected our president. It was minorities, single women, public Union employees, everyone who lives off the Government. I won't bother to mention the activist Liberal vote and the rich Hollywood moguls who always vote for the Liberal. All our future elections will be controlled by those who pay no taxes as long as the Democrat party allows Socialists like Obama, Reid and Pelosi to take over their party. Again I say, John F. Kennedy would be rolling over in his grave.

    Yes, the majority of the States were for Romney, but the highly populated states, where the biggest percentage of people living off of the government and not earning a living by working, appear to reside, went for obama.

    No but very let down! Don't understand how it was so close in the polls and Obama winning by so much. I believe there was some voter fraud involved in Obama being reelected.this should be investigated
