David Petraeus, former head of the CIA, said he knew the attacks on the US Consolate and CIA annex in Benghazi, Libya, were the work of terrorists from the beginning, according to lawmakers commenting on this morning's closed door testimony on Capitol Hill.
But Petraeus apparently debunked the idea that the White House politicized the intelligence or Susan Rice's talking points, which stated that the attack was a spontaneous protest about a movie, according Rep. Adam Schiff (D).
