u May 9 acg v Yes, they should Legally speaking the federal Government has no legal authority in the matter. The federal government was built to, 1) print money/regulate interstate trade 2) defend the Union from foreign threats 3) when states argue with each other the federal government was to step in No where in the constitution does it say " the federal government is to manage drug laws" it's the states job Post
May 8 Companion101 v Yes, they should For the love of God make it legal already! It's already been determined that deceit was used to make it illegal in the first place. And besides, who the fuck is the government to tell its citizens what they can and cannot put into their own bodies? So long as harm does not come t another, we should be allowed to do as we see fit! Are we not free? I ask again ...are we not free? Post
May 7 noahsmith37 v No, they shd enforce the law Do I think that Marijuana should be made legal Federally? Yes, I do think that is the proper course of action. However, as it is a Law right now in many states that it is illegal, I think it should be enforced as such. Those who are caught know that it is against the law and should not do it, because of that fact. If you don't want to face the consequences, just don't buy Marijuana. Post
May 6 MarkJM v Yes, they should I'd rather law enforcement go after more serious offenders. Lord knows there are plenty of robbers, rapists, murderers, serious drug dealers (i.e. crack, heroin, cocaine, etc.) to be sought after. Post

u Mar '13 jetdoc1 v Yes, they should This has got to be the ONLY Industry in the country that's BEGGING to be "Taxed & Regulated" by the Govt. and they won't do it... they'd rather put the $$$ in the Cartels hands. That to me is inexcusable! Post
Jan '13 kathyparsell v Yes, they should A States Rights issue, the fed should save the money and use it to treat people with addictions. Post
Dec '12 ReligiousWar v Yes, they should It's ridiculous for marijuana to be illegal in the first place, but where it is legal, the feds should just walk away. Marijuana needs to be decriminalized and the close minded people who think weed ever hurt anyone, do not know what they are talking about. Post
Dec '12 FreelancerFl v Yes, they should Why criminalize the use of a plant that's scientifically proven to be healthier than almost anything else you can put into your body? If it's legal in a state leave the citizens alone. r1 reply Post
Dec '12 Jesse Why can you smoke tobacco and not marijuana? We have a lot of government agencies that should be eliminated. B1 Post @Jesse
Nov '12 kenderhulk v Yes, they should War on drugs especially on marijuana makes little sense. Give up your beer and marijuana is not addictive. Post
Nov '12 canecorso v Yes, they should There surely is sound reasons for States to approve and lvote into law this subject,im sure they have rules and regulations to prevent abuse and web should observe how it! goes and react to the pros and cons to make it better. Post
o Nov '12 CoIntelProMike v Yes, they should Free the weed; cut the jail population almost in half. Better than spending money on probation, jails and policing. Post
Nov '12 gammler v Yes, they should I don't use marijuana. There is no valid reason, that I can see, to make marijuana illegal in the first place. Botanists tell us that it is a weed that grows in 49 of the 50 states. To make a weed illegal seems kind of ridiculous. When we made alcoholic beverages illegal during prohibition all we did was to create an income stream for organized crime. The results of that can be found in any newspaper. If people want something, they will get it. We are doing the same thing with marijuana. Once again the results of that can be found in any newspaper. It would be better to legalize it, tax it, and regulate it. That would create an income stream for the government. By keep... B4 r2 replies e54 endorsed Post

Nov '12 Keyjo v Yes, they should They should take a hands off approach in ALL 50 states plus the territories. It's a travesty when harmful drugs like alcohol are legal and so profitable, when something harmless is so demonized. Talk about bass ackeards! B1 e10 endorsed Post
Nov '12 Vance1 v No, they shd enforce the law Should federal law enforcers take a softer approach? You mean as they do with illegal immigration, Yea you can see just how well that works, with only 12 million illegals...Yea man not inforcing the laws works so well already B1 r3 replies e8 endorsed Post
Nov '12 Capt_Morgan02 v Yes, they should The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people. Seems pretty simple to me. B1 e5 endorsed Post
Nov '12 Thegrif v No, they shd enforce the law Well I think the Fed should legalize it period, but until they do, then Fed LEO's should follow their SOP. If the intel or evidense leads to a state where it is legal then thats to bad for the bad guys. B1 r3 replies e3 endorsed Post
Nov '12 PoliticalSpice v Yes, they should Absolutely, under the concept of federalism most these decisions are supposed to be left to the states anyway. More to the point, considering all the serious problems in the world and this nation, someone smoking a plan that is so low in terms pf toxicity there is not a recorded death from overdose in history. I would think they should have HIGHER priorities. B2 r2 replies e1 endorsed Post
Nov '12 Locutus v Yes, they should YES...They should do their jobs and do as the tax payers that support them say. It was a bogus BS law to start with and only puts NON VIOLENT people behind bars. We don't mind federal retirement supporting the lazy bums that are suppose to be there to serve us. Prohibition is one of the biggest scams we have put up for too long now. Too much can be gained from the usage of the plant over the minor bad things that can happen with it. B2 e1 endorsed Post
