tweeted, "On my way to DC to visit with the President on fiscal cliff...Nancy Pelosi joins me tonight on the Ed Show..," an affirmation to which
Huffington Post reporter Jennifer Bendery responded with the claim that the meetup was, well, a bit of a "love fest."
Seconding the love fest concept, Maddow herself
described the trip to the West Wing as part and parcel of a "hippie cabal."
