BAD MOOOVE
Fox Headline Refers to 'Rachel Madd-Cow'
Not the first time the network has name-called Rachel Maddow

The Fox News Network can't seem to resist name-calling when it comes to MSNBC progressive host Rachel Maddow. Less than a month after a Fox News anchor got suspended for referring to the openly gay Maddow as an "angry young man," the network is at it again.
A headline on the Fox News Nation website this morning on an article about Maddow's grammy nomination for best spoken word album, screamed: "Rachel Madd-Cow Gets a Grammy Nomination?" The story featured a picture of Maddow making that sign of the devil hand symbol used by heavy metal rockers and Texas Longhorn fans next to a picture of a grammy.
Maybe Fox was making an attempt at word play on the fact that her New York Times bestselling non-fiction book, Drift: The Unmooring Of American Military Power, has the letters m-o-o in it. Who knows.
Either way, the mean-spirited headline about the MSNBC host, who is known for her respectful tone even when disagreeing with a conservative, elicited an expected mix in the comments under the article. There was a chorus of other name calling, but quite a few others rushed to defend Maddow.
