Um...Could someone please tell me why anyone gives a damn about anything this airhead has to say?!?!?'Cause I sure don't....NEXT ISSUE PLEASE!!!

@Sonny Oh I care very much, everytime she opens her mouth another intelligent voter gets turned off to the republican party. I want her to run in 2016. Palin/Atkin. With a combo like that the dems could win by running...well just about anyone.

When is the media going to just let Palin go away. She only has any fame because McCain thought she would bring in votes for him. She was nothing before, and is still nothing after. I do disagree with the pick of Obama, but who cares what Palin has to say!
  • !
Funny how the news media still has a thing for her, she's like that ex GF you just can't get over. Come on @PolitixDain & Politico, time to move on with your lives.:D
  • !
@FFX_VA I think it is because to the far right she is a good talking head. To the far left she is the quintessential nut job republican.
  • !
@HPthinker From what I have seen in public life, I would say it is the soccer mom type. So yes, probably disconnected, republican females, who don't really care to look outside the box. They are comfortable with her smile, and are receptive to her rhetoric.

Obama ... man of the year?

I'm sure TIME could have found someone more worthless than that to honor ... lol ... maybe someone on the cast of Jersey Shore ... hehe.

My vote for woman of the year has to go to Honey Boo Boo ... rotflmao.
  • !
Of course she's right, just because exactly what has Obama done to be "man of the year"?
Even though Palin isn't much more than a voice (often loud and ignorant), she did make governor of Alaska. But, with the population of male/female in Alaska of 52/48%, more than likely the males voted with their mostly northern head. LOL

She should be made mother of the year.Just like Bristol should be poster child for teen pregnancy.. I trust everything she has ever said and done... What trash the media selects and repeatedily puts on a pedistal to admire. Obooboo has done nothing but go on vacation but he is no where the idiot or crook we did have in office. And Micheal Jackson was an honorable man(?)... We sure know how to pick our heros anymore. It used to be they had some honor and respect to them.

I met Quayle. Really quite intelligent for the short 5 minute conversation I had with him back in '88. He just didn't spell to well....but who does now days (except for those pesky english majors....lol)

    @stepped_in_it

Have you read Standing Firm? I read it way back when. It turned me into a fan.(FWIW I have Palin's first book and have never opened it.)

And actually his spelling was correct... for 1856 or so.

I think she is right about the publication being irrelevant. I try to listen to the folks in politics (both Rep & Dem), but have such a hard time because it is nothing but "he said / she said" these days. I feel sad for the direction this country is going in..
  • !
Yes . He has not done anything except put us deeper in debut. Oh almost forgot the health care bill that the majority of the people did not want, the just forced us to have it. So no and when history looks back at the clowns in DC they will say these were the fine folks who brought The Greatest Nation in the world to their knees and bankruptcy.

    @DARSB

Well, the Mayans civilization was pretty close to central or Eastern time zone (depending on whether they observed Daylight savings time or not..)

take into account the Axial Precession of the Earth for the time the calendar was created and you should use the same time zone as Atlantis...

Not to worry...."But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone." Mat. 24:36

Time magazine irrelevant, kinda reminds me of the katie couric interveiw when she asked palin what she read for news and she couldn't answer...now at least we know it wasn't Time magazine.
  • !
I had to laugh when I heard that Time Magazine had voted Obama Man of the Year. My thought was, and that's news? It falls right in line with his Nobel Peace Prize, just more media adoration of someone totally lacking any reason to be adored. But, the far left love the guy, he's their guru or new god or something, so all the little lefties will sigh and say, well of course, Obama's the Man! OK, whatever, next thing we know the left will be petitioning the Vatican for pre-death sainthood for St. Barry. LOL

remember all the whackjobs who tlaked about how Bush was soley out to ruin the US and he was pure evil and such, and how the far right followed in lockstep with him?

You sound just like those people...
  • !
@woodtick57 We on the left were just like that only Bush started 2 unfunded wars and Obama is ending them. Bush nearly caused a second great depression and Obama has us on the way to recovery, Bush nearly bankrupted GM and Chrysler, and Obama saved them and Bush ignored Osama bin Laden and Obama killed him. Other than that the similarities are amazing.
  • !
@PNWest Living in Obamaland must be so much fun, now, tell me again, just how Bush almost bankrupted GM and Chrysler? Can't wait for that one.:()
  • !
@Tralee The economy that Bush destroyed pretty much made it impossible for middle class folks to buy new cars. I will certainly admit that terrible management decisions made by the executives of the auto companies contributed to their downfall. Bush just pushed them over these edge. Fortunately Obama has been there to help them back on their feet. I hadn't thought about Obama being nominated for Sainthood but it does sound like a very good idea. After all how many times did Mother Teresa ever smoke the world's most wanted terrorist? Do you have to be Catholic to be sainted? I'll have to ask grandpa Joe.
  • !
This thread is wacked first @pnwest i'm happy they got osama, but mother teresa would not have shot anyone. And @tralee i assure you the "far left" is no fan of obama, any more then the "far right" liked moderate mitt...

I can't believe this woman, a political disaster, on the national stage (whose only accomplish is to improve her family finance) remains quotable. Even Fox has minimized her
  • !
@PoliticalSpice no I wouldn't say that. But, I think Sarah has that sexy librarian look going on. She's hot, at least until she starts talking.
  • !
@mtkopf when W first got into office I found coni rice attractive. But after awhile, listening to her say things i found detestable
My perception literally changed. This was not a consious thing, but when i'd see her on tv i started noticing features i hadn't before, things that made her unattractive to the eye, not just the ear. That is how i feel about palin, coulter. Noonan, whose politics I detest, and who is nowhere near as attractive to the eye is far easier for me to look at then the others, because her persona, though very conservative, does not nauseate me as these three. I cannot explain it, it is just how i feel, perceive and react.
  • !
@PoliticalSpice well being married, as I am, I've grown accustomed to actually tuning out what women say.
Ann Coulter? I think I just threw up in my mouth.
    Now Michelle Bachman...vavavavoom!!!
Condie Rice, idk...I think I would just stare at "the gap" the whole time.
That's what the dems need are more eye candy at the national level. I mean we got Hillary(blah), somebody resuscitated Diane Feinstein, and Nancy Pelosi, who doesn't look bad for her age but still she's over 70.
  • !
@mtkopf well Michelle may well be available, her hubbie, a definite closet case. Tuning 'em out, my gf complains i don't listen, i tell her she's lucky if i can listen to 10% of what says. she didn't appreciate it...
