If you put Al Jazeera on American cable networks there is a chance that Al Queda and The Muslim Brotherhood could be secretly sending coded messages through broadcasts. Also if Al Jazeeras airs and lets say a Marine is captured and tortured and it shows Muslims in the streets burning the stars and stripes it could bring down morale on the home front. I'm all for private enterprise however i do not agree with private enterprise that supports our nations enemies.

There is absolutely no reason for anybody, even people on the far right, to be against this. The only argument against them is that they want aired Osama bin Laden's videos. But hey, who can say that they weren't news? I have watched a lot of Al Jazeera English in the past and have found there coverage to be well above the standards that we are accustomed to with CNN, MSNBC and of course Fox news.

Al Gore wouldn't sell to an American (Glenn Beck) because he didn't like him or his views. But Gore is okay with a channel that is openly hostile to America's interests?
