Liberals Slam Limbaugh for Mocking Children Scared of Guns

Rush accused Obama of using kids as a 'human shield'

Rush Limbaugh has sparked liberal outrage with his claim that Obama used children at yesterday's press conference as "a human shield."

Liberal politics show The Young Turks has labeled Limbaugh's riff "despicable" and "one of the most obnoxious segments Limbaugh has ever done." And Wednesday's most-recommended post on the Daily Kos is headlined "The Filthy, Cowardly, Repugnant Limbaugh Mocks Children." Leftist critics are particularly upset that Limbaugh seems to mimic kids who are crying because they're afraid of getting shot.

But on the other side of the political aisle, Fox's Eric Bolling praised Limbaugh for slamming Obama's use of kids, and for doing it "in a way only Rush can communicate." Bolling himself lashed Obama for "casting children for a presser," asking "is there no level to which the left will not stoop to impose their will?"

I'm tired of hearing "you don't listen to him so you don't understand Rush", or "Rush is an entertainer". Anyone who makes his living peddling hate like Limbaugh does is the lowest form of life. Why "liberal" outrage? I can understand Limbaugh fans are so down deep in the gutter they wouldn't know decency if it walked right over them but I would think there should be many decent, honest conservatives that don't like this drug-abusing clown "representing" the Republicans, at all.

Actually, Hitler liberalized Germany's gun laws when he took power. The Weimar Republic banned firearms altogether. Hitler first stripped citizenship from "undesirables" and then passed laws that allowed private citizens to own anything but handguns. This created a citizenry with military grade weapons that, unfortunately, did little or nothing to impede Allied forces from taking Berlin.

It's a good thing you only insulted me and didn't use naughty words or you would be getting warnings from topix.

Fetuses aren't children. They are potential children. If it can't live on its own it isn't life yet.

I'm not upset that he is critical of children being in the stage. I think it's a stupid thing to be upset about, but I don't care. I find it offensive that he mocked children who are scared that they might be the next victim of a psychotic school shooter.
