Here's what being president looks like.

The White House has released a new official portrait of President Barack Obama for his second term taken Dec. 6 by photographer Pete Souza. When compared to the 2009 portrait from his first term, the new one shows him older, grayer, but also much more relaxed and with a bigger smile.

Presidential portraits hang in the lobbies of federal buildings across the country and U.S. embassies around the world.

    @Chromalord Yawn....so "the last four years" statement! While we're at it, let's blame Clinton, Bush I, JFK, FDR....the list goes on and on. Bush II did a horrible job, so who did you vote for in 2000 and 2004? HMMM.....waiting for an answer!

    @drpeeper The Dow has DOUBLED in the last four years. We ended one costly war and are in the process of ending another. Job loss was stopped and reversed. Obama is UN-destroying the country!

    HMMM....feeling like I'm judging a beauty contest and because I don't really care, I choose the ugly one just to stir the pot! Presidents don't have to be pretty, they have to be pretty smart....(as for the gray hair, he's given me some to....so I call it a wash)

    Wait until your children and grandchildren start developing gray hair due to this ass. I could almost swear my oldest (17) had a couple strands of gray hair. It's a shame how this so-called president has aged a nation.

    That's why they invented Just For Men. Its not the lame idea of destroying the country that's making him go grey it's dealing with hardheaded nincompoop republicans and most of their followers that's making him age faster!

    Any president with a great burden ages in office. Lincoln probably would have died of natural causes if he hadn't been shot. Wilson had a stroke. FDR died. LBJ would have died had he taken a second term. Clinton and W both went totally gray in two terms. On the other hand, Reagan, a disconnected figurehead who delegated everything and worried about nothing, did fine. Nixon, who enjoyed power and deceit like a vampire enjoys blood, thrived.

    Ending Bush's wars, getting the economy back on track, saving GM & Chrysler, passing healthcare reform, killing bin Laden and trouncing the republicans in the election gives you a few gray hairs but it does put a smile on your face.

    @texas_cutie75 The stock market closed Friday at a 5 year high did it not? Millions of jobs were saved in the auto industry thanks to Obama. The economy is coming back in spite of GOP obstructionism. Osama bin Laden swims with the fishes. Bush, McCain and Romney all either didn't think bin Laden was relevant(Bush) or wouldn't have had the balls to go into Pakistan after him (McCain and Romney). Thank God we have a good President instead of the unmitigated disaster that was Bush - which you conservatives approved of every step of the way as he nearly ruined the country.

    Nobody mentions all the white collar jobs he destroyed to save the union jobs, taxpayers lost big time on that deal, your right, Bin Ladin deal is almost laughable that he would claim " He" did it! Wish he was so quick to claim the Libya responsibility,

    @PNWest Record Millions Unemployed, Record Millions on Food Stamps, Record Debt- Record Spending. The Dow? You realize with an undervalued dollar the Dow number = half of what it did 8 years ago? Auto Jobs saved? It was a Union Payback. Money borrowed from China to prop them up. It's like you borrowing a million from the bank and calling yourself a millionaire. Tens of Billions still not paid back and never will. If the economy is coming back, how come gov't assistance (Food Stamps-Housing-Disability) keeps going up? Whoops. Keep cheerleading though- it's quite entertaining.

    @Ashstop The jobs that he saved were union and non union. As for bin Laden - he's dead - something that Bush certainly did not accomplish and something that neither McCain nor Romney would have done according to their own words spoken before Obama had bin Laden killed. After the fact they claimed that they would have done it too but before they both criticized Obama for saying he would go into Pakistan unilaterally. Enjoy the inauguration. I know I will.

    Taking our nation into bankruptcy. Gee I think they should for sure print his laughable Noble peace prize on the portrait. He is absolutely the worst antagonist president in our history. He is buried in his ideology & refuses to compromise for the good of our nation.

    @PNWest - Put away your race card. It's 2013 and we no longer are sympathetic to the rabid claims of racial suppression from the left. We are not European Americans and Afro Americans and Hispanic Americans and whatever other divisive grouping you want to use, we are AMERICANS period. Some of us support the idea of America and others of us don't, but we are all Americans. No more race card for you!

    I job that few are brave enough to to try for thankless it is. I may not agree with the Presidents policies but I realize how little power he has to receive the rashion of shi} he is served on a daily basis
