    @Ashstop Fear them? No I root for em. I am counting on em. If it weren't for them Rney might have won the election. The GOP would have two more senators. I want them to refuse all compromise. I want the sequester so we get a 50% military budget cut. I want them to keep up their crazy rhetoric and obstruction so the GOP loses more seats, maybe even thd majority, in the house. I want them to primary every viable republican. I want Bachman and Palin to be the 2016 GOP presidential ticket. Don't ever think I don't support the t-party. Indeed, one day I even want to sip some of their tea, it will be the most powerful hallucinogen I've tried since the 1970's, but only a little bit, it seems to make one very pananiod.

    Boehner you're a big baby... you want all the toys on the playground. I just saw an article the other day that talked about how the GOP influenced the redistricting to favor republican power in congress... and I don't care about your stupid party! Get you butt in there are pass a freaking budget, you big whiny titty baby! geez!

    Wow, how do you really feel? A bit crude don't you think? Maybe leave off puffing on the MJ for a bit so the paranoia goes away. Um, sweetie, the HOUSE HAS passed a budget, 4 of them to be precise. See, this is how the budget process works, the Senate passes a budget (hasn't since 2009) and the House passes a budget and then, with both budgets in hand the House then appoints a committee to RECONCILE the two budgets into something that will pass both houses. That's the official system. Unfortunately, the Senate has NOT passed a budget since 2009 and Harry Reid didn't want to pass one because then the American public would see just how much money they would have to borrow in order to pay for all the pork and entitlements in the budget. So, darlin', if you want a budget passed, swear at the Democratic Controlled Senate, not the House, they already did their job, they are just waiting, and waiting and waiting and waiting for the Senate to do theirs. Bet you didn't see THAT in the national media. Look it up if you don't believe me, it's all there in the congressional budget committee notes.

    The Republicans in Congress want to cut Social Security and Medicare to pay off interest on the War debts they created. The Republicans need to disappear for the good of this country and the world.

    @armed_liberal

    Just like those evil Republicans want to slash Pell Grants for all the students in my primarily minority classroom. Wait, that was the President. The bill was already written, signed a week AFTER the election ; $30B gone overnight...

    And millions spent on tv ads making then all believe he'd save their grant money...

    @PoliticalSpice Geeze, did you sleep though Government 101? See, in the budget process FIRST the President, that would be Mr. Obama since 2009 BTW, presents to the Senate a Budget, the Senate then votes on that budget, passing it or no (so far the ONE budget presented was voted down without one yes vote and that was the Dem. controlled Senate of 2009). Now, if the Senate doesn't like the Presidents budget they can play with it a bit and present their version of it to the House to be reconciled with the House Budget (passed each year since 2009 unlike the Senate BTW). So who lives in the WH is integral to the whole budget process. There, month one of Problems of Democracy 101 in a nutshell, for free. In small words, Obama, the president has not sent a budget to the Senate since 2009, the Senate has not asked for or passed a budget since 2009, Mr. Obama has lived in the White House since, you got it, 2009. Got it?

    @Tralee did you read the constitution? All spendin must originate in the house. The statute you are talking about is not controlling over the constitution. And I would never take poli sci 101 from a conservative republican anyway. Sure, i'll watch george will or peggy noonan for a different perspective, but take a poli sci class from a right winger, no way, they would cetianly give me a bad mark because they tend to be authoritaian and don't like creative thinkers. Besides, I don't want to encourage the school to keep em on the pay roll...

    @PoliticalSpice Sigh..........OK, what part of the proscribed rules of making a budget did you not understand? Really, it isn't Rocket Science, look it up yourself, it is EXACTLY as I said, both House and Senate have to present a budget, got that? THEN the House RECONCILES the two into ONE that can pass both the House and the Senate and be signed into law by the President. Really, it's just not that hard to grasp. Obsessing on that one DNC talking point, that "All spending must originate in the house" is misleading. The House DID pass a budget, each year that Obama has been in office, BUT according to the rules, the Senate and Pres. must also present a budget, what part of this do you NOT understand?

    @PoliticalSpice Jezus H. Cristo, what does learning the reality of how government works have to do with left or right? I gave you chapter and verse of the Congressional Budget Procedure, ACCORDING TO THE CONSTITUTION, what part of that did you not get? It's not a left/right issue, it's a PROCEDURAL issue, and procedure that each and every Congress must adhere to. Really, your partisan outlook has done you a real disservice this time. Look it up yourself, type in "Budget procedures by Congress" and you will see the whole thing.

    @woodtick57
    I know your hoping for a democratic embracing GOP but it ain't happening, who would the far left take money from to hand out? You depend on the GOP for survival of socialist agenda
  • !
    @Ashstop

    Hardly. you do not even understand the meaning of the word socialism, as proved in your first post. kind of silly to argue an idea you don't understand, isn't it?
  • !
    @Ashstop The GOP has done nothing but obstruct a socialist agenda. Indeed preventing socialism seems a bi-partisan goal. We need get rid of GOP so we can start pushing the dems left. They remain an obstacle to socialistic government.

    Yes, he wants to destroy us, we bow down, give him what he wants, we push, he pushes back, we cave in, I'm disgusted with the lack of backbone the republicans have !i say grow a set of balls,if its not right for this country, say "hell no ", instead of helping him destroying this country !
  • !
    bow down and give him what he wants? yes, that's exactly what the gop does and not the opposite at all and oppose every piece of legislation that's put before them. that's why we still don't have a friggin budget deal, because they gave into obama's demands on the budget. the house is not able to draft a budget that doesn't eliminate obama care or social security. they don't know how to write it without those provisions.
    If Obama plans to destroy the GOP he's going to have a race ahead of him. They're already being destroyed by themselves at a pretty fast pace.
  • !
    It seems to me that the G.O.P. has been trying to annihilate Obama for the past 4 years.
    But the Prez doesn't have to try too hard, they seem to be doing a pretty good job of imploding on themselves. Republicans can either move forward into the present century or into oblivion. It's them self mutilating.
  • !
    True dat. Republicans are self-destructive, and the only worry is if they 're so bitter they wish to drag the country into the pyre with them.
  • !
    Obama doesn't need to do anything , they are doing a good job on their own of making themselves the party of radical extremist and have outlived their usefulness.
  • !
    Boehner is chosing something else besides taxes and debt ceiling to fight Obama on? I hope its the budget. Really I do. Unless he can beat down these gimmedaters, he and the GOP will lose the house in 2014.
  • !
    Some beliefs are not appropriate to the Times we live in.. So if the GOP are not willing to evolve with the needs if a present day America... They will Annihilate themselves by holding on to the past, and dyeing beliefs
  • !
    He my shove them around, a little. But, Republicans party will be around long after he's gone. But, I love the word Annihilate. Heavy, like the word F*ck.ck.

    Of course he does, he's a typical Chicago Pol for heaven's sake. His mission is to so damage the Republican Brand, by misinformation, innuendo and outright lies, whatever it takes, he is a master of the Scorched Earth policy and with a very compliant and unprofessional national media, he seems to believe that any lie he tells will be reported as truth, after all, anyone as thin skinned as Obama has to feel personally affronted that anyone, absolutely anyone would vote against him. He will do all he can to squash his perceived enemies, the conservatives who did not buy his party's notion of Obama the Deity, did not like his policies and who continue to make America a Center Right country, contrary to his belief that America has gone left. It hasn't, but his NPD will not let him believe otherwise.
  • !
    Get off your chicken s&$t azz and shut it down, at least then we will have to figure out how the hell we are going to deal with the out of controll spending.
  • !
    Boehner needs to put on his big boy pants and stop sniveling. Both parties are dedicated to the destruction of the other. You pretty much identify yourself as losing when you start whining about the other side beating up on you when McConnel announced the GOP has a singular goal to make obama a one term president. Boehner is a wuss. Man up.

    Regressives wound themselves repeatedly without Mr. Obama's help. Whether they can remain solvent as a serious organization in the face of the TeaPartistas remains to be seen.
  • !
    The tea Party could almost seamlessly blend into Nazism. I don't think much remains to be seen since 70% of america see them as the Lunatic Fringe already.
