The left can scream and beat their heads on the floor as much as they want, but homosexual relationships are never going to be the equivalent of Heterosexual ones. It would encourage a new avenue for exploiting immigrants, the gay 3rd world population facing oppression there would seek American sponsors. We have too many exploited illegal immigrants as it is, without legitimizing and encouraging more of the same with a stamp of gov't approval.

I had to take I have mixed feeling here, not because I am not convinced that same sex partners are going to burn in hell. But the fact that there is some rule where they cannot both have VISAs? Not in the same name or some quasi family name. Because that is either against the law or plainly immoral. But if they both have names then they both can apply and pay the fee and take the picture and be happy and gay. (no pun intended) Beyond that, if it has "same sex" in it, it is probably bad.

@Yobyag marriage is defined as man and woman. Sorry if this offends you. I have a brother who is Gay. He will tell you that marriage is a man and a woman. He believes in civil unions. In the beginning it it was Adam and Eve. Not Adam and Steve. This may shock you but I don't feel they qualify for family benefits.

Love is love, people will love who they want, and no one can do anything about it. Let's say your idol came out as homosexual, would you lose all your respect for them? They are the same person as they were before, aren't they? Plus many other countries: Argentina, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Iceland, The Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, South Africa, and Sweden have legalized same-sex marriage, why can't we?

@OneWayDoor I never called them wrong. I called their practice wrong. Same sex couples is wrong in my belief. This is an outlet to express my values and to demonstrate (in words) why I choose to agree or disagree with topics. I have an opinion and so do u. I respect that. Why are we even considering this. For every single guy who successfully gets across the border without being caught, he will send for a friend, even if they are not linked sexually. Same with a girl who successfully gets across. But then, the Democrats are banking on near 100% Democrats coming across, so all the better. Maybe Obama should include US party affiliation in the interview. If they are at all Conservative, he can send them back. He is practically that transparent about his intentions anyway.

Our federal laws don't define marriage as same sex partners, neither do Mexico's. Why should we start making things up. I don't believe in rewarding illegals with amnisty. Furthermore it will cost us more financailly than it will bring in and we should focus on the suffering Americans and close our borders to illegals.
