Washington is looking for an adviser on all things marijuana to help it transition into a newer, friendlier legal regime for green
ushered in by state voters last year. As FOX
informs us, state officials want to know "how it's best grown, dried, tested, labeled, packaged and cooked into brownies."
Scrambling to draft the rules and regulations concerning the growing and sale of weed, Washington's Liquor Control Board, which has been tasked with the job, is on the lookout for someone with at least three years of consulting experience in the cannabis industry.
"There are some technical aspects with marijuana we could use a consultant to help us with," said LCB spokesman Mikhail Carpenter, who noted the agency's preference for someone with "a strong understanding of state, local or federal government processes" in addition to a law degree.
