They won't vote until May

The Boy Scouts met today to discuss ending their ban on gay members, and they've decided to postpone deciding for some time. Scout leadership announced that they need more time to debate – a lot more time, since they've postponed voting on the issue until their annual meeting this May.
The group is facing "intense pressure from two flanks," AP reports.
Conservatives held a protest and prayer vigil at the Boy Scouts HQ in support of continuing the ban. The rally featured signs that said "Don't invite sin Into the camp" and "Homosexuality is a sin! BSA please resist Satan's test. Uphold the ban."
But overturning the ban has high-profile backers, including Obama. And gay rights supporters are disturbed by the delay. "A Scout is supposed to be brave, and the Boy Scouts failed to be brave today," Jennifer Tyrrell told the AP. Tyrrell is an Ohio mom and a lesbian who was barred from volunteering for the Cub Scouts.
