    Just Maybe he has room in his shell for Fat a** Carl.They then can Plan the Overthrow and Conquest of the World(Monomaniacs Pinky & the Brain)

    These days, an endorsement from Rove is like an anchor tied to a politician's ankle. I think the Dems aren't worried about attacks but Republicans fear Rove might recommend them.
  • !
    I'm really hoping for people to get to the point that when they see an add by a big money superPAC, they get a negative impression of whoever the ad is supporting.
  • !
    @harold_lloyd
    Couldn't agree with you more. However, some idiots, yes idiots, don't realize that almost any ad from a superPAC generally="payback" to said superPAC or special interest once elected.
  • !
    @GmanGSW
    There will always be such 'idiots', but the majority just don't pay much attention until things are way past needing to be fixed.
    The majority is waking up now. that's why there are fewer teabaggers in the House, and why there will be fewer still after 2014.

    You'd think we would have learned that it's better to pay attention before a disaster, and not after. But it's human nature, I guess.

    @harold_lloyd
    HA!*smiling* True, my friend, re the disaster bit, true! Still *smiling* I hope more ppl are paying attn, it does appear that some are. Oh, and, uh, "tea baggers," couldn't be thrown overboard soon enough!

    @stepped_in_it she will not run. Not a chance. She's an uber liberal more in the mode of Hilary than Obama. She doesn't have a prayer in Kentucky and she's a smart woman. She knows that.
  • !
    @stepped_in_it That's exactly what's going on. Just blowing rove's money and he has plenty of it. But the end game here for the Dems is a 3 year war to make Rove look stupid so when it comes to a real election anyone he backs will go down. The Dems are busy working to disenfranchise Karl Rove. Americans that vote, tend to vote and forget about politics until the next election. The game is 24/7/365 for the two political parties.

    I find it humorous... Rove trying to stay relevant by spending other people's money on attack ads against a person who will probably not run.
  • !
    She can run right over to my place anytime she likes but she knows better. Kentucky is not electing any ultra liberals anytime soon and she knows that. In the ad she says "she will do anything for Obama". Well that's exactly what she's doing. Putting her face out there for Kentucky, getting Rove and McConnell in a panic, making them look like fools and then in the end the Dems will run a moderate right blue dog and take Kentucky. Rove took the bait.

    Ms. Judd is a well known and well liked person but it takes a LEADER to deserve a public office, not just someone that everyone knows or likes. I hope everyone realizes this BEFORE the elections.
  • !
    She thinks Obama is "brilliant"? Yet his Marxist philosophy has failed everywhere it has been tried. McConnell needs to be replaced, that's true, with someone more conservative.
  • !
    We're going to have to build an immunity to any ad from a PAC or such. If we don't, Big Money will keep trying to buy democracy.

    The time to pay attention is in the primaries, not the general election.

    With all the gerrymandering, primaries are where races are decided.

    Or do you need more Akins and Broun?
  • !
    What we need is a ballot revolution. If you vote Dem, then fine, vote Dem. If you vote GOP, then fine, vote GOP but the ONLY way to clean up Washington is to deal with this in the primaries.

    RE-ELECT NOBODY 2014
  • !
    @jessejaymes
    But please stop saying RE-ELECT NOBODY 2014. that just leaves the field to people who want to elect their own fanatic.
  • !
    @harold_lloyd I don't agree. both parties think THEIR people are the good guys. I think both parties are corrupt to the core.
  • !
    @jessejaymes
    You'd be wrong. Not to say that corruption isn't there.

    It's just that the influence of the middle is diluted by the primary system as it currently functions.
  • !
    @harold_lloyd there was a time when I thought as you think. That time is not now. I'm 66 now and been politically involved since about the 8th or 9th grade in one way or another. I think this country is owned lock stock and barrel by the ultra rich and evil by both parties is only a matter of degrees. Evil is evil.

    RE-ELECT NOBODY 2014

    She won't win but Karl just proved himself to look like a fool here. All he did was fuel a small fire, one that McConnell should easily still be able to put out (if he runs a smart campaign).

    i am from pike county.in the very eastern end of ky.guess what! mcconnell loses there everytime.the last time i was home there are still signs up that says ditch mitch.polls show that 34% of kentuckians will not vote for mcconnell again.i really don't care who beats mcconnell as long as he loses.

    And it just clicked....ashley judd you are too liberal. It will be better not to hold public office. liberals are killing our country as we know it.......just stick to making movies.

    @stephen

    That's my point. Hilary was one example. Many political figures do not reside in the state and/or city prior to their candidacy and some still don't reside even after elected but have a second home in that area and claim residency. Therefore, why is it important to demand that request to Ashley?

    Bottom line, many people are on the anti Ashely bandwagon because she's an actress or believe she's too liberal, yet, they fail to learn anything about her and/or her level of education. I'm not indicating she would be good, but compared to the other career politicians currently in office who are corrupt and put us in this mess, why would anyone want them to stay in?
