But you will NEVER hear this on ABC NBC CBS NPR PBS CNN MSNBC. If he were a tea Party member or listened to Glenn beck, Oh my.........the endless prattling and gnashing of teeth by the left would be network and nationwide.

I asked in another post , if we survey prisons for prefered political affilation, which party would the prisoner most likely support?

I helps I guess to know why people do these things. I don't blame the liberals. You can have crazy followers. You can't stop it. I am glad they can't blame this on conservatives.
  • !
Agreed. If the crime has obvious political implications or is making a political statement then it does matter. If it's just some crazy blowing things up, then no.
  • !
Not shocking, but sad, that crazy people come in the full range of the political spectrum and we're totally incapable of recognising their potential to create mayhem
  • !
@martydotcom what scares me is now a lot of crazy bastards are seeing what one motivated individual person can do. But it's a suicide plan. They will eventually hunt him down and kill him. He knows that. Some one that doesn't mind dying is dangerous.

@NTBFW 'Tis a sick world and you've just defined every whacko, terrorist & Jihadi. I can't believe people want to tie this President & future Presidents hands from people who have declared war on us and are willing to die for their cause - drones make good talking points until you are terrorist's
    target

    Know-it-all #413 reporting for duty.

What's happening is this [gender] had something snap in their mind that thought it would be a good idea to commit [crime] with a [crime weapon]. Their [political lean] was obviously the cause.
  • !
Know-it-all #1138 reporting as ordered. IMO conservative media sources are making hay of this nut bag's political leanings because they're still smarting from the election losses and are eager to pounce on anything that they can spin as anti-liberal. Personally, I don't think a maniac's political views are relevant unless those views prompted his action, such as with Timothy McVeigh.

I find it most interesting that everyone involved is not stating what happened to precipitate this psychotic break. Find it interesting the "alert" officers are indescriminately shooting unarmed civilians I trucks that are not the same make, model or color as that of Dormers and there aren't repercussions for the police-shooters. They are not even the same sex as Dormer!
    Makes you wonder....

He isn't a conservative. That seems clear. Even as much as I don't like liberals, I can't blame this on the liberals either. This is a guy that's pissed. He seems to hold a grudge too. It's just terrible. I am glad they can't blame us either.
  • !
I apparently hold a lot of "liberal" ideals, though I don't consider myself a democrat, but you'll never see me blaming a shooting or a killing on a political lean, left or right. It just seems distasteful and of course inaccurate.
  • !
@Polusalo I got angry at liberals especially Mother Jones for exploiting Mother Jones . I don't think the right should use this either. Except to say it wasn't one of us.
  • !
    @NTBFW
Hell, you don't really need to even say it wasn't one of you. Usually a 45/45 chance it's Republican or Democrat. The other 10% is non-affiliated. As the Beatles would say, Let it Be.

Doesn't that imply that leftists are using violence to effect change against right wing regimes who maintain political power and domination with violence?
  • !
Bill Ayers....and President Hussein Obama and the Weather Underground....
Progressive liberals tend to have....how can I put this....the reason so many of these people come from the progressive liberal camp is inherent in their philosophies and ideologies....they hold to violent dissent as perhaps a civil right....then with political correctness, "tolerance", relative truths and morals, you get fundamental human suppression and oppression....after awhile it just boils over....
  • !
@Knightmare I take it we're just going to ignore Mussolini, Franco and Hitler -- the rightwing dictators of the last century?
  • !
@Zazziness Not at all....however we're in the 21st century right now....current...."trends " are different....the pendulum of violence is swinging from progressive liberals....
  • !
@Knightmare No, it's really not. That's just what you want to have happen. How about the doctor assassinations? Those terrorist acts are definitely political and are a product of rightwing extremists.

He was talking about a motive for this guy. He was speaking in specific terms. He was not addressing a broader issue such as gun violence. I'm sure that he would say the same thing about any shooter. Both things can be true. We can have a gun problem and a deranged criminal problem. I would argue that both statements are true and need to be addressed. By the way, I am a gun owner.

Wonder what his thoughts would be on that sniper team some years ago....remember that freeway sniper....California too right?

"Mr. Bill Cosby, you are a reasonable and talented man who has spoken the truth of the cultural anomalies within the black communities that need to change now. The black communities’ resentment toward you is because they don’t like hearing the truth or having their clear and evident dirty laundry aired to the nation. The problem is, the country is not blind nor dumb. They believe we are animals."

Way to buck the stereotype, black Rambo.

Anyone else find it humorous that they constantly attack and point out if someone that killed someone seems slightly conservative yet when its one of their own its bad taste and off limits.
  • !
Yeah, because that EXACT thing isn't what's happening now w/ you guys. Give me a break. I wish I could filter things the way you guys do... but then again I'd be living in fear all the time... so maybe not.
  • !
This man deranged rants are not really an issue, he just needs to be stopped PERIOD!!! Unfortunately he will probably be killed but that is the path he has chosen.
  • !
I know conservatives who are both republicans and democrats. I know Freemasons to be all of the above. So, do you hate your brethren? How can y'all have such a hateful attitude.
  • !
I think that there political leanings are only relevant if they carry out crimes to support those politics. For example, the Symbionese Liberation Army (left) or Timothy McVeigh (right) murdered to carry out political aims. Otherwise, it doesn't really matter who violent criminals support for political office, does it?.
  • !
What a joke! Anyone remember Tim McVeigh? The media loved to play up the fact that he hated government and he loved guns. It was a 24/7 non-stop cycle. Here we have a leftist black racist who's killed 3 people and you are suddenly asking this question? Pathetic. Just like the media refusing to cover the black on white violence that is out of hand in this country. If it doesn't fit their agenda, they won't report it.
  • !
Liberals are quick to shy away from this guy, yet if he was found to be supporting Conservative causes, that same liberal media would be all over it like white on rice...
  • !
This will be something swept under the rug by liberals and their media juggernaut...nevertheless, this guy needs to be caught and brought to justice...
  • !
"Are the political views of people linked to high-profile crimes relevant?"

Not necessarily. This guy is a psychopath who dreamed of the power he would wield when he had that badge and now he's lashing out against the people that he blames for him not getting it. His manifesto and his politics could be helpful in apprehending him but unless he inspires a movement they're otherwise irrelevant.

So that raises the question of whether this guy is inspiring a movement.

I don't know who David Allen is...

Dedicated to an Unexpected Black History Month HERO: Christopher Dorner
    http://ourblacknews.com/

I wonder if David holds Dorner to the same high regard as Nat Turner.

But he's not alone... That evil Michelle Malkin has noticed some tweets of support...

‘When he’s finished Chris Dorner’s name gonna be frozen in Black History month forever’
    http://twitchy.com/2013/02/08/when-hes-finish...

I'm unimpressed. My thinking is that there will always be some sympathizers in cases like this. I'm sure that Kaczynski has fans and that McVeigh is a martyr to some people. Throw in that some of these supporters are the same types that cheered on Bonnie and Clyde.
  • !
But I DO think the "Left-Leaning Politics of Suspected L.A. Killer" are relevant if we're talking about how differently the media would be treating the politics of this psychopath if they were"right-leaning."
  • !
Media sharks will show no restraint, when they should be letting the cops do their jobs. They don't care that what they say can inflame a situation needlessly.

Information of this sort should be used as intelligence, not as the subject of some jerk's commentary.
  • !
amen to that! "If people in the media cannot decide whether they are in the business of reporting news or manufacturing propaganda, it is all the more important that the public understand that difference, and choose their news sources accordingly." -Thomas Sowell
