Hillary has been deemed the nation's "most popular politician" by a Quinnipiac Survey. The former Sec. of State has a 61% favorable rating, and a 34% unfavorable rating. Obama was rated only 51 - 46 favorable in the same survey.
Frankly, though, given the competition it's no wonder Hillary came out on top. The other choices in the poll were John Kerry, John Boehner, Marco Rubio, Paul Ryan, Joe Biden, and President Obama. So of course Hillary's the favorite out of that rather motley crew. It might be more accurate to call her "least unpopular of the nation's major political figures."
Here's the full line-up, for those who are interested:
46 - 41% for VP Joseph Biden
25 - 29% for former FL Gov. Jeb Bush, with 45 percent who don't know enough about him to form an opinion
20 - 42% for House Speaker John Boehner
27 - 15% for FL Sen. Marco Rubio, with 57 percent who don't know enough
34 - 36% for Rep. Paul Ryan
43 - 33% for new Sec. of State John Kerry
14 - 18% for Defense Secretary nominee Chuck Hagel, with 67 percent who don't know enough.
