I, too, was torn between jobs and the deficit. But, I think cutting the deficit 1st could (and would) throw us into a deep recession or depression. It's always been about the jobs and economic growth.....too bad D.C. doesn't "get it".

There will be no jobs and the economy will be in shambles. We know that obama has no intentions on fixing the deficit, but that should be his priority. GET SPENDING UNDER CONTROL!!!

I am torn between this and the deficit, but I think that indiscriminate spending cuts without regard to the inevitable job losses that result from them could easily do more harm than good. We need to cut waste, not our own throats.

In light of what was reported this morning by the news media, the priority should be to STOP N Korea before its too late!!!!! They have threatened us with rockets and nukes. GET OUR HEADS OUT OF OUR AZZ and STOP THEM, USING ANY MEANS NECESSARY.. For those that will say "all the poor citizens of N Korea that will loose their lives" if we do what is neccessry, I offer you this. Agree. Jobs, increasing tax revenue, then cut government spending. Cutting 1st just gets us into a vicious cycle of cut, lose revenue, cut......rinse and repeat!
