Santorum Curses Out NYT Reporter: "It's Bullshit"
You're not a real Republican if you haven't cursed out a reporter

Santorum had what Twitterers are calling a "Tantorum" when he cursed out New York Times reporter Jeff Zeleney. He accused Zeleny of talking "bullshit" when Zeleny asked about Santorum's statement that Romney is the "worst Republican to run." Santorum clarified that he never meant Romney is the worst Republican ever - just the worst to run against Obama on healthcare.
Santorum's flare-up is being treated by many as a gaffe, but his ire might be quite refreshing to GOP voters who'll enjoy the sight of a New York Times journalist taking some heat. Zeleny himself thinks Santorum's outburst was a clever tactical move, making an appeal to Republican voters by using the media as "a foil." Or as Santorum told Fox & Friends, "if you haven't cursed out a New York Times reporter during the course of a campaign, you're not really a real Republican."
This is far from the first time Santorum has lost his rag on the campaign trail. In the Jan 26 Florida debate, he got heated with Romney on the exact same topic, Romney's approach to healthcare. Romney responded, "it's not worth getting angry about." But many voters are just as angry as Santorum about this exact issue.
Your take: does Santorum's outrage make him more or less appealing as a candidate?
