Coffee, tea, or nudity?

A Washington chain of drive-thru coffee joints that employ scantily clad young women has been charged with allowing said women to do more than simply craft a cup o' joe. "Grab 'n' Go" workers in the store's Everett location, just outside Seattle, are alleged to have been stripping for cash following a months-long investigation the Consumerist believes, with tongue firmly in cheek, could have ended a bit sooner.

"Police pored over surveillance footage showing the baristas allegedly putting on a show for customers without serving any coffee, and receiving money for doing so," writes the site's Mary Beth Quirk. "It's fine with authorities if the baristas want to wear swimsuits or what looks to be lingerie, but stripping is a no-no."

Despite the owner's insistence that a strict, no-tolerance policy exists for such behavior, neighbors claim otherwise, according to police.

"Citizens complained that these locations served more than just coffee," stated a police spokesman. "They were uncovering themselves and exposing themselves, which is completely different than the outfits they were wearing; it's behavior driven as opposed to what they were wearing."

Capitalism at it's finest example. Offer a niche market that no one else does - 'Grab' what and 'Go'. It would certainly add to the morning pick-me-up before hitting work with a smile. Kids shouldn't be present tho.

If a young women thinks that she can make more money by showing a bit more than her bikini, she just might do it. Most of these girls are working part time for minimum wage plus tips while going going to college. The temptation to show a bit more to get more money must be very tempting. When I was in college I waitressed. Out uniforms we the same stripped polo style shirts. Those of us who has the body to, ordered the shirt size that would be tight. We had pants or shorts. Thank goodness the shorts weren't kind. Upper to mid thigh. Again those of us with the body ordered our pants and shorts too small and only wore the pants on Sundays bosses orders. Didn't matter anyway, the church groups flooding the restaurant never really tipped. But when wearing the tops and tight short shorts payed off very well. In fact two head hunters came in to try to recruit myself and another girl. They offered $5,000 hire on bonus after both of us turned them down. We both turned them down. What we were doing was as far as we would go.

Washington is a strange state. They've legalized pot. In season the country roads are lined with hundred of cars as people go pick their "magic mushrooms". Western Washington is a hotbed of Liberalism but they have some pretty famous serial killers and Eastern Washington is a hot bed of white supremacists and illegals pickin' those apples. Pike's market in Seattle is one of the most famous fish markets in the country while the amount of unsanitary food handling is appalling yet it continues to draw mass crowds. People are wired to the gills on coffee everywhere you look to the point you don't know if they're meth heads or just average people.

But can't have no boobs. Now that is over the line.
