On Monday Obamas' Press Secretary Jay Carney didn't quite manage to reject the idea that "access to the president is being sold" for $500,000. In fact it's fair to say that Carney dodges the question:
The issue that Carney circumnavigates in the video emerged from a NYTimes report on Obama's advocacy group, Organizing for America. Donating or raising $500,000 or more will get you on to a national advisory board that sometimes meets with the president.
