May 12 zachsquatch v Yes, great idea I believe that it would be good to have them over the counter and I believe that AIDS test results should be legally disclosed to employers that work in the food and health industries. It may seem rash, but my opinion changed after a friend of mine found a band-aid in a burger. Post
May 10 marysrus13 v Yes, great idea Supposedly access will provide opportunity to test without shame or guilt and prevent further infection. Unless a person has a package on the shelf and administers before having sex, there's no way that simple access is going to change infection. So if I can have my stand-by pack on shelf - and can have the individual "take it" - then its very beneficial for public health. Post
May 2 Spirit02 v Yes, great idea As long as those using them get counseling and taught how to deal with this in better ways. Post

Mar '13 Jamesa1019 v Yes, great idea Pregnancy tests are available. Since they're available actions can be taken considering the pregnancy. The same goes for HIV. If people know they're infected they can seek treatment and not spread the disease. Post

u Mar '13 Realthinker v Yes, great idea I have been seeing ads for such a product for over a month, so they already are. It's a silly question; there is no reason to restrict availability, unless it's so inaccurate it could give people a false sense of security. B2 e3 endorsed Post

Mar '13 martydotcom v No, poor idea like all communicable diseases HIV +readings should be reported to Cty state or fed health dept, HIV+'patients just learned the have a fatal disease counseling is a must both to teach the patient to cope and prevent the spread. Suicide is not infrequent w/o counseling B1 e2 endorsed Post
