Why is this blowhard still here? Wasn't he going to leave America if healthcare passed or Obama won or some other faux outrage? Why can't he just keep his word and get out?
  • !
I know you don't like him, but if it takes someone of the likes of Limbaugh to point out the WH's actions, which our President "didn't know about"...I would say that he can stay. I didn't know about this and I am quite disappointed in our President, which happens often. Not necessarily that this would happen, because that's no surprise, but that he has no gall to take blame for anything.

@PNWest-- Did you listen to it? Rush isn;t going anywhere except to Costa Rica for quality healthcare when it's no longer available in the US... sort of like how Canadians come to the US for their medical care now. It's already starting in CA.

You do know that Costa Rica is a healthcare tourism destination don't you? You do know that we're headed towards the waits and denials of care that Canadians experience that prompts them to go south of the border for care?

Yes, lets ignore the real action that occured and concentrate on Rush so we don't have to admit that crooked things are happening. If it was one of the talking heads from MSLSD bringing this up, you would be falling over yourself to jump aboard.

    Team Obama? LOL!
Anyway, the guy has a point and the WH knows everything that goes on with the constituents in which they pander towards...They just deny it and pass on the buck, ie poor Hillary Clinton.
  • !
    I think your correct.
Gerald ford defined what constituted an impeachable offense:"An impeachable offense is whatever a majority of the House of Representatives considers it to be at a given moment in history".
Now could the congress do it,yes. But getting even a simple majority vote in the house would be impossible in spite of the fact that the "Rs" hold the majority.

The Obama administration it by far the most fraudulently manipulative administration to ever step food anywhere near the whit house. This administration has lied to or miss lead this country from day one.

@marine1 weapons of mass destruction ring a bell? show me that Obama released these guys and not a pencil pusher at the ICE with an axe to grind tryinjg to make a point about the budget cuts. You think he's the only person capabale of grandstanding?
  • !
@frigginhell I think he is suppose to be the responsible person in charge but on that issue i could be mistaken, you deside.
  • !
@marine1 So he micromanages every cabinet of every federal office of every state of every department. Hell, I'd probalby hire someone to do that. Oh wait, they do. I'm not saying that he is not in charge. I'm saying he doesn't make every ground level decision for every government job and agency in the country. If he does nothing about it, then yes it's his fault. If someone did it because he isn't writing the budget for the ICE (then again he only signs the budgets but we'll pretend it's his fault the house forgot how to do their job since that seems to be popular these days) but he fails to do anything about it, then it's his fault that he did nothing. There is a chain of command for these things. Then again, their budget is at their discretion because again that's not his job. If congress can't pass a budget then this agency and a lot of other agencies will do things people don't like because that's what sequestration is all about. Cutting costs without having the fortitude to stand by what programs you want to cut because you're a gutless house representative who says we need cuts but don't have the balls to put it in writing where you want to make them because it might cost you a vote.

@Bobolinsky Well, for starters...most things out of his mouth are either lies, distortions, or both. He routinely "talks down" to the very audience who lap up each and every word that he utters. He pretty much admits that he "failed at pretty much everything in his life"...His declarations, not mine. He should really just stick to something that he knows best...(how to set up his house-keeper to take the fall for illegally buying drugs) for HIM!

it would be nice, yet i have heard so many times about him being impeached its either get it done or stop talking. if there was anything there that could call for it what is the hold up.

i do think those releases was his order yet we will never know the truth and if ever caught the famous words "what difference does it make" wonder if that would work for defendants at their own trial?

No President can possibly know everything the bureaucracy does before the fact and there are many many many thousands of bureaucrats that think they are a law unto themselves (for the most part they are). I won't fault Obama for this up to this point. Now let's see what he does about it. They are, after all illegal.
  • !
@jessejaymes That order came from the WH. The damage is done, and the president isn't going to do nothing about it except cite the sequester and point the finger at republicans for it.
  • !
@jessejaymes Manufactured and exploited crisis! Come on man, I thought you prided yourself on not falling for either sides bull! Let me know when and if Obama fires anyone over this!
  • !
@AlexMIA Whatever Alex. Govt doesn't react like that. Not under Reagan, not under anyone. They have a firestorm and that's govt does. Deals with firestorms in a manner in which they think they can make the most political capital and/or minimize the damage. BOTH parties.

I liked the way you began with libel without any backup then made a mighty leap to an unsubstantiated conclusion that fits your pre-decided agenda. It really is very simple when you avoid all facts, I guess.
  • !
@Zazziness Anyone who knows the Constitution knows what he has done to violate it. Those would be the facts. It's quite simple when you are well informed.

Rush doesn't know a thing about running anything except his mouth. Following this guys "legal" opinion would be like a traveler (about to board the Titanic) believing the commercial hype telling everyone that "this ship is unsinkable"...Never trust a Republican.

One feature of the Democratic victory last fall that hasn't gotten much attention is their media usage. While the GOP stuck to its tried-and-true broadcast media format, including Limbaugh, the younger, more diverse and ultimately more numerous Democratic voters were cultivated and organized by new media, like smartphone apps, Facebook, Twitter, G+ and Reddit.

As the inevitable demographic erosion of the Republican base continues, guys like Limbaugh will also erode. I don't think Rush will outlive his audience.

Go ahead impeach him. (Impeachment is the trial not the act taking down from office). The senate decides his impeachment trials anyway and I highly doubt that a Democratic majority Senate would take a Democratic president down from office.
  • !
You have that backwards. The house decides on impeachment and then sends the articles of impleachment to the senate where they hold the trial to remove the president form office.
  • !
"The impeachment process is a two-step procedure. The House of Representatives must first pass, by a simple majority of those present and voting, articles of impeachment, which constitute the formal allegation or allegations. Upon their passage, the defendant has been "impeached". Next, the Senate tries the accused. In the case of the impeachment of a president, the Chief Justice of the United States presides over the proceedings. For the impeachment of any other official, the Constitution is silent on who shall preside, suggesting that this role falls to the Senate's usual presiding officer. This may include the impeachment of the vice president, although legal theories suggest that allowing a defendant to be the judge in his own case would be a blatant conflict of interest. If the Vice President did not preside over an impeachment (of anyone besides the President), the duties would fall to the President pro tempore of the Senate."

An example would be Bill Clinton was impeached by the house, but was aquited by the Senate in his trial to be removed from office.

The government is more like an octopus.
Decisions are delegated to managers who follow established guidelines. No president can be aware of each and every local decision.
