u May 14 KyleMFb v Frustrated Hey we would not be where we're at if it wasn't for the republicans being assholes and obstructing the recovery from the mess that they created and then drug out. It's time for leading republicans to all be thrown in jail fit crimes against their country.. Post
May 13 LEC v Worried Being one of the 47% that is dependent on government.. social security, medicare, food stamps, housing and medicaid.. yea, I was concerned and wonder for quite some time if I was going to get my monthly check... I did..but I don't appreciate Congress putting us in this situation and I don't like what I am hearing that Obama wants to give SS and Medicare to the Republicans to mess with so they will like him better. Obama , they will never like you.. forget, just represent the People.. Post
May 12 Bill2E v Angry So stupid that our legislators cannot come together and work out a budget for the nation.; I'm not concerned about the president and his agenda, the Congress could change the direction of the nation by passing a budget and if the president does not sign it override his veto and pass it with a 2/3 majority of congress. Just get it done and drop the political posturing, take care of business. Post
May 8 Some_Progress v Angry This is just going to kill jobs, as a 20 year old I am seeking a high demand job, but because of this much uncertainty its hard to say that you approve of things like this that cut money from people who disparately need it. It is predicted to cost us 750,000 jobs and some people still want more cuts. These republicans who champion them should be thrown out of office. Post
u May 8 Avoicenmany v Don't care All this is, is nothing more than political posturing and MORE scare tactics from the Ofail admin. May 8 Prime_Meridian v Angry I'll tell you why. I see a lot of people who can ill afford to be laid off getting furloughed. You can especially see this at the US Armed Forces Commissaries and Base/Post Exchanges, cashiers, stock clerks, etc. being cut way back in their hours. Us retirees are seeing the prices of items such as a small package of nuts go from $2.00 to $2.59 overnight. US Armed Services having to cut back in training. Yet all the while certain high-ranking folks get to play tennis with Tiger Woods, send their families on luxury vacations to the Caribbean or pay over $500,000 for hotel rooms overnight. It's like a flashback to 1780s France under the Court of Louis XVIth! Post
May 7 jeffreyknee v Pleased Gridlock is good! Despite the Dem propaganda, it prevents Washington for growing even faster than usual. Gridlock worked in the '90s, when Newt prevented Hillarycare from passing. That freed up private sector loan money to grow the Information Age. Obamacare passed with one party rule and you can already see its damaging effects on everybody, and it's not fully in force, yet. Luckily sequestration is slowing Washington and allowing private sector to grow jobs again, albeit not like the '90s. Post
u May 4 fraps v Don't care It is a tiny cut that is being used by the president to cause as much trouble as he can by insuring it hurts the most people possible. I am not surprised that such a tiny cut could be made to have disastrous consequences for a chosen part of the population. Obama cannot be bad at everything he does. He has done a good job destroying the county and this is just one more example. Post

Apr 25 Aftermath v Don't care Obama asked for the Sequester and now he has got it. Keep up the great work Republicans. Keep the pundit in line and vote against anything he s behind. History will record that the Obama presidency was nothing more than a farce perpetrated by some foreign fool backed by the traitorous new media. After the truth catches up too him, they need to send whatever media that aided in this folly with him to Gitmo. Post
u Apr '13 smbiz v Saddened No country in history has cut it's way to prosperity. It's sad that politicians are afraid of the stupid. B1 Post
u Mar '13 vtullo93 v Pleased Now, more than ever we need to cut spending. The sequester is the first step in getting out of the deficit, even though it is no where near being the amount we need to see a significant difference. Post
Mar '13 Laity1 v Pleased ANYTHING that reins-in spending is good in my book. Moreover, now that some rubber is meeting the road, we can see what government is choosing to cut (what belongs to citizens) and not cut (what belongs to pols). Frankly, I am not surprised by their misplaced priorities. Post
Mar '13 Chanel v Frustrated Military Tuition Assistance being cut is such a slap in the face. Im so disappointed. Plus I have to figure out a way to pay for college on the fly......yay. B1 Post

Mar '13 ZombieMedic v Don't care I couldn't give a big whoop at all to Obama's scare tactics and the fumblings of both parties. Government needs to be CUT in size and spending in REAL WAYS, not this mickey mouse "reduced overspending" of this sequester BS! The government is like a crack addict saying, "I'll get off the pipe if I can just have a little more crack, but I won't get to smoke as much as I would really like before I kick the habit, so don't expect too much from me since I'm not getting as much crack as I'd need to get." o Mar '13 NTBFW v Pleased If this the only way to reign in government spending then so be it. It shouldn't be this difficult to get the message to the government. I don't think this was the best way but it was the only way. Even now it isn't an actual spending cut. It only reduced the rate of spending increase. B4 r1 reply e9 endorsed Post

u Mar '13 Furface v Angry I am "all the Above"! We pay the President and the Congress to run the country, not do nothing and run the country into the ground. First, this was a Stupid Idea that should not have had a "need". Second, when it became obvious that it would endure, the President started his Fear Mongering AGAIN! I get so pissed that when the "Leaders" don't agree with something they fire all the Cops and Firemen. In fact, these people are some of the only functions of Government. Sad that they think (and are half right) that we as Americans are Dumb and unaware. When will it become clear that the Liberal Left is hell bent upon destroying our freedoms? When will the masses stop accepti... B4 e3 endorsed Post

u Mar '13 BelinKS v Frustrated Obama picked and chose the programs that would hurt the American people the most. He could have cut spending by stopping giving money to other countries and completely ending both wars now! All troops out now! How can we be giving billions on top of billions to other countries when we can't take care of our own citizens?! B3 r18 replies e4 endorsed Post
Mar '13 Ryuo v Pleased Despite being sequesterated personally, I'll go along with any kind of cut, any time, to help break the government's addiction to spending. Too bad Sequestration is only cutting $50 billion out of $3.6 trillion... B4 e2 endorsed Post
