Don't let that droll econ instructor
from "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" fool you. Some times these folks crack.
An Indiana business teacher is on leave until further notice for scrawling menacing messages to his students on his chalkboard, reports
NBC. The unnamed educator-intimidator at Edison Junior-Senior High School in Lake Station, Indiana jotted down a series of over-the-top sentences Friday morning that appear to grow in intensity:
A) You are idiots!!!!!!!! B) The guns are loaded!!! C) Care to try me ?????????
After students snapped photos of the chalkboard and shared it with administrators, the school took action in notifying parents of what they claim represents no imminent danger.
"We take this situation very seriously," said Lake Station Schools Supt. Dan DeHaven. This despite complaints by some parents that the phone message they received Monday came a bit too late; as in, after
they'd sent their kids off to class.
Yes, perhaps a weekend notification would have been more appropriate.
