After a third and final day of mauling by Supreme Court Justices, we ask: just how screwed is Obamacare?
Yesterday was another dreadful day for the health care law, writes Slate's Dahlia Lithwick. And Donald Verrilli, the Solicitor General defending the law, put in a performance that "will go down as one of the most spectacular flameouts in the history of the court," adds Adam Server in Mother Jones.
If the court kills the bill when it rules in July, it could deal a lethal blow to Obama's presidency. What's the Team Obama back-up plan if Obamacare is tossed out? The answer is, they don't have one, because White House officials are still "confident" that the law will survive.
Weigh in: do you hope Obamacare gets killed by the court? Or do you want at least parts of it to survive?
