I thought Colbert was funnier when he was on Stewarts show. Some of those other guys are just a-holes. Stewart and Colbert definitely cover a broader range and seem more unbiased in their actual reporting.

Because the question was related specifically to politics, I go with Stephen Colbert, hands down. I used to think it was Jon Stewart, and rightfully so, until the Colbert Report came out, and IMO, it's not even close. Colbert is comic genius. But outside the realm of politics, Craig Ferguson is again, IMO, by and far the best late night host on TV. They should have avoided the whole Leno/Red Headed fruit cake (can't think of his name right now), and just given the chair to Ferguson. He is funnier by far, and has a much better rapport with his guests than anyone else. Leno has been stale for a loooong time. I used to enjoy Letterman back in the 90's, early 2000's, but h...

This is easy, Stewart. I like his type of satire. I like Colbert as well but Stewarts is a bit better as it doesn't rely as much on the character acting. Well, unless he's doing a spot on Glen Beck imitation. I also like that although Stewart is clearly a democrat and makes no apologies for it, he will call them out on their idiocy as well.

Actually, none of the above. The politics in our country are the worst I've seen them. There is nothing comical about it! I don't care what side it is coming from and do not understand the willingness of any of our politicians to go on any show such as Stewart's. Why lower yourself to that level?
