I have never believed it meant everyone gets a gun and bullets. it does say a well regulated militia and that we have with our state national guards. Truth be told, more Americans die from gunshots then from terrorism and look what we did after 9/11.. we gave up lots of our rights..so why do we fight this one so much? I guess we no longer live by the 10 commandants when it comes to killing each other, we have declared open season on our fellow citizens, only when the foreigner comes to do the same to we squawk.

The only amendment that should be repeal is the obsolete one, number 14. Written EXCLUSIVELY to give citizenship to the children of slaves. All of the authors of this amendment specifically stated that it was never meant to apply of the children of illegal aliens, yet liberals have used it to flood our country with millions and millions of money sucking anchor babies just so they can get future Democratic voters. Sensible gun control (background checks and requiring training) coupled with funding and research into early detection of mental health issues will cause a decline in gun crime. Stopping gun crime is impossible to do since nothing short of destroying every gun in the world and wiping out all knowledge of how to make a gun will stop gun violence.

Heller, without the political turmoil that would ensue a constitutional amendment that would repeal the second amendment or a ruling that would bar enforcement of second amendment rights from individual citizens. And many people mistakenly believe that the purpose of the Second Amendment is to give you the ability to possess a firearm to protect yourself from criminals. That is NOT the primary purpose the Second Amendment was written.
