There are people that will abuse anything, so making marijuana illegal to keep it from being abused is not the way to go. Legal marijuana would be taxed and used by many. It is a good product for many medical conditions and it is much better for a person physically than alcohol. Legalize it and tax the heck out of it.

Isn't this society already dumbed down enough? People who vote don't even have a clue about the issues. Education is so bad that most teenagers can barely speak English, even the American ones. Marijuana will be what we need when this place becomes an unbearable world to live in. Marijuana is used for medical purposes and it helps with them. Whoever saod marijuana kills brian cells. Isnt that meth, cocaine, crack, heorin, perscription medicine, and so on. Marijuana is a plant. I know someof the other drugs I listed come from a plant, but they are still chemically altered in the kitchen. Unlik marijuana you smoke what you get directly from the plant. Until you can show me in the bible where is says directly smoking marijuana is a sin please show me. Marijuana legalization for me is they way to go and believe me I have plenty more reasons why besides these few.

What about the fact that it kills brain cells? What bout the fact that it causes all kinds of medical problems? And don't tell me it doesn't.. What about all the little babies in mama's wombs that have come out messed up because of it? What about just the plain fact that it alters ones mind and you can make decisions you might not otherwise make? What about the fact that it leads to harder stuff (maybe not in ALL cases but in MOST)? Because it alone stops being enough to satisfy... I don't care what kind of "educated person" you think you are if you say "it doesn't cause medical problems or lead to harder stuff". I have been around this stuff enough to know it's baaad ...

Hemp products are very strong and durable. Marijuana should be legallized everywhere as it has very effective medicinal purposes for a lot of people that could reduce their dependence on pain meds. How many pot related deaths do you hear about? How many alcohol related deaths do you hear about? Think about it and compare

A lot of money time and spaces in jails for a "drug" that in all my years I have never known of people killing, robbing or getting into accidents because they use marijuana. Take that money and time and use it for counceling, medical and rehab facilities for people who have addictions to meth, crack and pharmicudical pain killers (which has led to a jump in heroin use once again.)

Marijuana has been studied up and down sideways and every way in between.It has been well documented all around the world and here as welll plus scientificaly proven to be a very good medicine and a medicinal aide and can do things for cetian physical and mental problems that whats currently being used today cannot do.It is the best thing there is for glaucoma which I have and is advancing quickyl in my case,it is also the best pain reliever for permanant chronic pain issues whcih I also have,I'm a dsabled nam vet with war wounds and permanant injury's which cause me treamendous pain 24/7,the VA has me taking 20mg percocets 3-4x's a day and morphine tabs at 30mgs each ...
