    @Malitia_Man ...the myth that we atheist are immoral and evil is just too funny to me, just propaganda by those who feel threatened by those such as us...there are many who taught and teach peace and love, you don't have to be religious to be that way, something I teach my children everyday :)

    HMMM.......I have 3 things to say about Mr. Perry.....
    1) He needs to worry about his Texas governorship before worrying about an (R) presidential nomination.

    2) Is Christmas really a time to talk about "war, battleground, fortress.....etc"?

    3).........
    Um....ah....I do have a 3rd one......let me think.......give me a minute.......um, can I get back to you on this one???

    He ccould've went with
    "Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up." Hosea 13:16

    or

    "If thou shalt hear say in one of thy cities, which the Lord thy God hath given thee to dwell there, saying,Certain men, the children of Belial, are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which ye have not known;
    Then shalt thou enquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold, if it be truth, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought among you;
    Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword.
    And thou shalt gather all the spoil of it into the midst of the street thereof, and shalt burn with fire the city, and all the spoil thereof every whit, for the Lord thy God: and it shall be an heap for ever; it shall not be built again." Deuteronomy 13:12-16 (Basically destroy cities with non-belivers, then loot them, then burn them down)

    Those really send out the Christmas spirit.

    I should have read further. I could have gone with something other than the Hosea 13:16 in my post. There are just so many to choose from.

    I really have no idea of what "God" wants, but the bastards who have lead us to death and destruction claim to have God's word, or is it just greed whispering in their ear's?

    The Psalms were all written well before the birth of Jesus and this particular quote is as far from the Christmas spirit as it gets.

    An image of the Crusader Kingdoms. We all know who they fought and we all know what happened to them. Very fitting idiotology for the ignorant jebusfreaks.

    @DARSB ok a christmas card is personal, that makes it the journalist and Perry's business none of yours or the rest of Americas.

    Perry just continues to amaze the rational world. Was it too many concussions in high school football? Too much peyote at Texas A&M? Decades of alcohol abuse?

    He clearly sees himself as a crusader. I doubt this country will even consider another doltish religious nut from texas

    @Poltal
    Well we have a " doltish religious nut from " Chicago now; don't forget Obama spent 20 years in the "God Dam America" church of Reverent Wright.

    @Poltal
    Well back in the 50s' for a "talking point" I would comment that anti American and racist remarks were stupid and then get up and leave the meeting; Obama seems to have stayed in this hate filled church for 20 years.

    Would you have stayed in a church that screamed "God dam America"?

    Please no more Crusades, not like those in History. or the insane wars in the middle east of the Bushes, Clinton or the current pro Muslim war monger.

    Keep our men and women home to build America, not dying to protect the International Banks and their Corporations.

    To hell with the traders in our Government who have sold their honor and loyalty to America, for a hand full of money from the Bankers while our children die for nothing.

    That is a spiritual psalm against the demonic forces that are behind much of what and who opposes God and His children.....we do not fight against flesh and blood.....

    and with what texas just did to prove our borders can be shut down and controlled,they did it for awhile proving the only reason we do not have a secure border is all lack of effort of the feds side.
  • #31
    !
    HMMM......it would be nice if the feds got their hands out of their (and my) pockets and their thumbs outta their asses (and quit searching mine) and do their damn J O B.
    Praise a secure border.....
    Pass out the ammunition.......

    That has exactly what to do with this?
    Perry is a troglodyte but then again so are those who support him. I'm sure you're just trying to reassure us that, despite the war mongering bible passage that was quoted, christians aren't that bad because they're not muslims. That's a big fail.
    3 Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy [a] everything that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.' "
    16 The people of Samaria must bear their guilt,
    because they have rebelled against their God.
    They will fall by the sword;
    their little ones will be dashed to the ground,
    their pregnant women ripped open."
    But what do you expect of a religion who worships a god they claimed killed the first born son of every egyptian after he purposefully made them reject freeing the jews.

    @frigginhell
    At least the "troglodyte" as the Governor of Texas has promoted jobs, unlike Bush and Obama who have, and are crushing the American economy and people.

    @mountain-folk rick perry's job plan when he was running in the primaries amounted to little more than drill baby drill. somehow troglodyte seems appropriate still. also, that's not much of a plan. his plan was further de-regulation of the energy sector. It's almost as if it was written by oil and coal company executives (in so much as it probably actually was)
