That's just another way for the rich to weasel out of paying their share of taxes.

I think you'd better stop smoking that chorizo. It fried your brain. How much is the "fair share" for the rich? 40%, 50%...90%?????

The rich are already "weaseling" out under the present loop-hole tax codes. If you don't like a flat tax, do you like the present system or a national sales tax or what?

@stepped_in_it What about the rest of us who take advantage of the mortgage interest deduction, charitable contributions, etc. That applies to every homeowner with a mortgage.

@methinks Yeah it does. Even the one's with million dollar mortgages and give million(s) to charitable contributions. Telling me you only bought a house for the write off and give to charities for the same reason?
HMMM, I bought my house to increase the value (at least till 2008 LOL) and give from the heart (which, I guess I don't have one, just ask my ex's)

@stepped_in_it Here's something for you look into. Look at rich D's and R's and see who gives the most to charities. Tax write-offs or not, at least they are giving!
