The poor have been voting for democrats for years and years; guess what...... They are still poor. To claim that obama and the democrats are not RICH is a mouthful of nothing.

Franklin Roosevelt, a Democrat, introduced the Social
    Security (FICA) Program. He promised:

1.) That participation in the Program would be
    Completely voluntary,

2.) That the participants would only have to pay
1% of the first $1,400 of their annual
    Incomes into the Program,

3.) That the money the participants elected to put
Into the Program would be deductible from
Their income for tax purposes each year,

4.) That the money the participants put into the
Independent "Trust Fund" rather than into the
General operating fund, and therefore, would
Only be used to fund the Social Securi ty
    Retirement Program, and no other
    Government program, and,

5.) That the annuity payments to the retirees
Would never be taxed as income.

Since many of us have paid into FICA for years and are
Now receiving a Social Security check every month --
And then finding that we are getting taxed on 85% of
The money we paid to the Federal government to "put
Away" -- you may be interested in the following:

Q: Which Political Party took Social Security from the
Independent "Trust Fund" and put it into the
General fund so that Congress could spend it?

A: It was Lyndon Johnson and the democratically
    Controlled House and Senate.

Q: Which Political Party eliminated the income tax
Deduction for Social Security (FICA) withholding?

    A: The Democratic Party.

Q: Which Political Party started taxing Social
    Security annuities?

A: The Democratic Party, with Al Gore casting the
"tie-breaking" deciding vote as President of the
Senate, while he was Vice President of theUS .

Q: Which Political Party decided to start giving
    Annuity payments to immigrants?

A: That's right! Jimmy Carter and the Democratic Party.
Immigrants moved into this country, and at age 65,
Began to receive Social Security payments! The
Democratic Party gave these payments to them,
Even though they never paid a dime into it!
Then, after doing all this lying and thieving and violating the original contract (FICA), the Democrats turn around and tell you that the Republicans want to take your Social Security away!

And the worst part about it is uninformed citizens believe it!

So, do you think that if the poor had been voting for Republicans all these years they'd be rich?
Naw, there'd probably just be a whole lot more homeless.

Let's wait until November--we'll see that the black voter, as well as most of America, stayed with Obama.

Why would intelligent, well informed people need to consider race? I would hate to think that i would have to base my decision on the colour of a persons skin.

I wonder what black voters think about Obama giving jobs to immigrants thus the hugh support among hispanics for Obama.

I know right. Well what be will be. If the black majority is lost on his account and don't vote for him. Well I wonder why. dugh. anyhow. what is the big deal?? either way which ever president we have, nothing is going ot change. It was all prophicized and all those prophicies will come true. Some have already been fullfilled, and it only going to get worse.
The part I love is during these debates they say they are going to do this going to do that. Make promises that they know they can't keep in the first place. Just to make them look and sound good to the majority of the population. Like dugh, wake up people. They all are the same. Liar's. nothing is going to change on fact.
Dang no good Godless Liberals. well can say that this world deffinantly has gone to hell in a hand basket.

This is collateral damage from the President's endorsement of same-gender marriage. The Black support will return, as will most Independent and middle class support. There is no choice. If you are any less than a multi-millionaire, then a vote for Romney is a proverbial cutting off of the nose to spite the face.
Romney, the Republicans care only about the uber rich.

Why wouldn't they? Last I checked, we all live in the same economy and have the same national debt hovering over our heads and the same. The same entitlement obligations that will burden white grandchildren will also burden black grandchildren.
Plus there's the novelty factor of the "first black President". There were people of all races who would have voted for McCain in 2008 if Obama was white. Some of those people were black. And now that the novelty has worn off, the reality has set in.
Then there are the blacks who have noticed which side has actually been starting all these class, race, and gender skirmishes. Perhaps some of them have reevaluated which side they want to be on.
When you stop thinking of people as groups and start thinking of them as individuals it really is that easy to see.

The VAST majority of potential black voters do not vote. More than half of black males over the age of 18 are convicted felons and products of the thug rap culture. They don't vote. Blacks in total, counting those below voting age are only 11% of the population which means perhaps 5.5% of the population are blacks who MIGHT vote but statistically more thant half who are eligible don't vote so that means 2.75% of America's voters are black. This is a bunch of bruhaha about nothing. And for those who are ready to tell me off and call me racist I am mixed race. So whatever. It is what it is.

I won't tell you off. But I will ask you where you got your stats. "Where did you get your statistics?"
  • #11
It's simple math. Blacks are 11% of the total population. Less than 50% of all Americans vote regardless of race. Go from there. Google it.
