It was a sneaky ploy by Gov. Otter to bring in these two yahoos to take away time and the differences between him and his main chief rival, state Sen. Russ Fulcher.

@MolonLabe Yay because every gun owner shoots squirt guns at gun victims right? With that same logic, the THOUSANDS of people of the ows movement were immature, right?
Get real, you're either for the constitution or against it. And no, not every ows protestor was doing immature things kid, especially the ones getting maced. This is the America you want? Sick.

Kinda like the biker or the cowboy.....who wants "normal" anymore.....we've seen where "normal" gets us.....it gets us where both parties are owned by corporations, where WE THE PEOPLE may have the Constitution but both parties have stripped those freedoms away by so much laws that have done end runs around the Constitution for their special interests.....

We've seen no jobs, a recovery that would be embarrassing to the very definition of the word, murder of unborn babies running rampant, godless sins praised as good and churches falling to that sin, we have seen the debt grow so much as to be impossible to payback, we've seen a president get us into illegal wars and another president support and fund nazis and al qaeda because he himself is a muslim.....

We've seen betrayal in so many ways of WE THE PEOPLE.....that if this is normal......I don't want any part of normal.....

@Cincinnatus No.....the answer is veering away from the "normal" that has got us here to the unnormal that can get us out of here.....

Okay, so they're less polished than political insiders. Put Joe Biden under the biker cap and you'd hardly know the difference.

Didn't they give the guy in the suit a chance to say something crazy?

All the political shows are talking about the biker guy - RedEye had the best analysis so far.

What's great about the biker is that there's finally a political candidate who fits the stereotype liberals have of the Tea Party. I don't know if that hurts or helps his campaign, but what if the rebellious children of Democrats come out to vote?

"A cowboy, a biker, and a curmudgeon walked into a bar." Going to break and let loose all the spirits trapped in bottles.

Let's see, what does that leave? Half of GOP Democrats, and half of Democrat party communists. Those two Democrat halves combined with the half of Dems who are communists should win the House, Senate, and Presidency.

"A cowboy, a biker, and a curmudgeon walked into a bar..." sounds like the beginning of a GREAT joke!

Of course they're running for office. Why shouldn't they? They probably represent a lot of people in Idaho (and the rest of this country, for that matter). And if you think they're weird or stupid....they're no more so than some of our current politicians. Anybody heard the latest from Maxine Waters?

“Guess what this liberal would be all about? This liberal would be about socializing … uh, umm.… Would be about, basically, taking over, and the government running all of your companies.”

Oh yeah, Torrance is in her district. You know, Torrance, California? Where Toyota USED to be...

I would vote for any one of them before I would vote for Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid.

You see, the logic of the Mary Nobels and her ilk are that we can't survive as a nation without the millionaire country club liar types that are currently running our country. So these stuck up Democrat drones will poke fun at the simple hard working folk of our nation. However, over 200 years of history shows that we did just fine with simple folk as our elected representatives. The real problems began when we started electing the country club millionaire misfits that Mary admires so much.

Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid may not be your favorite people, but I'd rather have Nurse Ratched in charge than the cuckoos.

    @drpeeper

Not only do I not think they're nuts, but a majority of the voters back home share my opinion.

If you have to declare someone deranged just because you disagree with them, then maybe you're the nut.

@Cincinnatus Actually, let's not forget that Nancy Pelosi thinks that unemployment insurance is good for the economy. She thinks, by giving people government money, they will then go out and spend it and thus stimulate the economy. lol! This statement just proves that she's not only out of touch, but also, a case can be made that she is nuts. After all, I would think that people who have been unemployed and living off of unemployment insurance, know that, after all the bills have been paid--that can be paid--there is nothing left to spend. If you're lucky, you will have two incomes, so at least the mortgage can be paid and then enough will be left over for food and the other important bills. So, Pelosi is, at the very least, out of touch with reality, and a case can be made that her out of touch equals--Nuts.

@Party-Cults Unemployment insurance IS good for the economy. If you had any semblance of an education you might understand econ 101.

They sure as hell don't represent me!

After the primary, I think you'll see how few people want to be represented by either of them.

@Cincinnatus It's pretty funny to watch Republicans run to the far right to win primaries, and then make a mad dash back to the middle to try to appeal to normal people. They would really prefer uncontested primaries, so their off the wall ideas spouted against their Republican primary challengers can't be used against them in a general election where they're subject to scrutiny by people with half a brain.

Republicans truly are the party of stupid. This is, of course, because they are religious conservatives, among whom being stupid is the least of their shortcomings.
  • #205

The religious junta has been a disaster for the GOP .

If the GOP stuck to political accountability and several other things instead of this religious nonsense by people who never practice what they preach , The tea Party would have grown in massive numbers instead of a fading joke which is now owned by religious fanatics .

Not because the media tells me that but because I see it in Florida's politics .
