that's just wonder this country is going down,so many people don't have any morals.homosexuals are nasty and unnatural. It's a sin for a man to lay with a man and for a woman to lay with a woman. It was a sin yesterday, today and it still will be tomorrow.

I've known the whole time Anderson was on TV. First time my gaydar actually screamed at me.

    But seriously, props to him.

Absolutely and unequivocally there is value in public figures coming out of the closet and taking a stand with their fellow LGBT's. I for one am very proud of Anderson Cooper for coming out the way he did. After all, he is known as one who keeps them honest, as such he should be honest as well. More LGBT's need to unite and take a stand together and claim their pride. This is a new era LGBT's should take pride in who and what they are and those people who have a problem with it be damned.

I dont think so. I think everybody thinks everybody in hollywood is a homo. coming out it just another day. Hollywood is filled with LGBT.

You cant damn us. Only God can do that.

I don't mean damning in the literal sense. Let me reword this. To hell with those who have a problem with LGBT's

    Yes, there is.
Of course the fact that the "Silver Fox" is gay has been well known for quite some time. But the more visible we are, the better. Too bad so many celebs, like Tom Cruise, lack the gonads.
I'm still waiting to see if Prince Harry comes out in the near future.

Yes there is now because some very narrow minded people make such a big deal out of it, but in reality a persons sexual preference is their own business. Mr. Cooper is one of the best at what he does! Him being gay or straight will not affect my opinion of him as a person or a journalist.

It's great to be a real
conservative ... Then you dont have to worry about labeling everyone.. "Hey Cooper.. Just do you job, that's what you'll be judges on.. "
  • #73
Careful there autiger, you keep taking like that, the "label that shall remain unnamed"'s will have to start conceding that people who associate themselves with Alabama are capable of thinking for themselves just like "normal" people ;)

Such a handsome and dignified man! I just don't see why it's news when people come out gay, as if it's some significance to what gender some random person finds attractive! Who cares? What's it our business who's banging who? Oh, it's Topix and Politix business, I forgot ;)

Now I have another reason not to watch Anderson Cooper. Not that I have anything against him as a member of the human family, but anybody who uses their sexual perversion preferences as the dominant factor of their identity is not worthy to hold any kind of a job. My reasoning is that in all of human history homosexuals as homosexuals and not as humans, have never contributed anything positive to any society. Quite to the contrary, their prominence and acceptance in any given society has contributed to the down fall of that society.

    Proverbs 14

34 Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.

    Genesis 19

    24 Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven;

25 And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.

I'm with you on this one. Wonder what would happen, if we went to the news room and stated that 'I'm straight', would that have made news? Or I just got married, to a man, or your case, just got married to a woman, why must they advertise? We do not go around doing this. If someone gets married, man to woman, makes them sick, what is so wrong with us stating that this makes me sick?

And yes God is against this. And you covered that mighty well. Good job.

Something i knew since 2003! His sexual preference is nobody's bussiness! The man does a good job on t.v ,that's his job and the only thing that should matter.

Who cares? I don't get the fascination with peoples sexual preferences. Since when did being gay, lesbian, bisexual, or straight become the focus of who someone is?
I think that is the problem many "homophobes" have with homosexuality. It isn't so much that they care who you choose to love and/or sleep much as the typical PDA that is displayed among some the LGBT community. It's beyond your typical PDA. It's almost as if it is done for rebellious reasons...kind of like LOOK, I'M GAY...I KNOW YOU HATE IT SO I'M DOING THIS TO PISS YOU OFF. YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO DEAL WITH IT". I personally don't want to see two men or two women groping each other and ramming their tongue down one anothers throats anymore than I do a man and a woman. Regardless of sexual preference, have some couth about yourself in public. I feel the same way about putting so much emphasis on ones sexual preference. WHO CARES?
There is enough hate in this world as it is. Let people love who they want to love, as long as they are two consenting adults. I just think it's pathetic for ANY man or woman to force their sexuality down anothers throat. That goes for gays, lesbians, bisexuals, AND straights.

So what? I wear a size 5 shoe!!!! And they never have my size!!! Why do all these "minorities" think anyone really cares who they sleep with. You gotta live with it not me..and btw...BIG SHOCKER?..not

There is value in their so doing, especially in the USA, in this period of time, because the USA has to come of age and get with other countries, like Canada, and give full equal rights to gay people. Otherwise, though, what someone does in their bedrooms, unless they want to broadcast it, is really no one's business but their own, and they are under no obligation to 'come out' to the public.

If women can dress as men with pants on, a guy's dress preference shouldn't be an issue, there is no law that punishes men for dressing up in women's clothes and vice versa, move in to the 21st century.
