Sharpton is a trouble maker, not a healer. He should have been consigned to obscurity decades ago. His victims in the Tawana Brawley scam have still never received the compensation they were awarded by a court years ago while Al makes mega bucks appearing on tv nightly.

With the history the White community has of enslavement, lynchings, and oppression, you've got nothing to be so proud about.

@jennisi The facts about Sharpton equal me being prideful? And how can I be responsible for the sins of an entire nation? Because you are laying the entire racial history of this country at my feet, and unfairly so, since you don't know me. You are even assuming you know my race.

No he hasn't. His only goal is to lift himself up, and be a "prominent" public figure. The man is NOTHING but a racist. Right now he is demanding justice (in the form of arresting an innocent man, and charging that man with murder), because an African-American man (6'4" 292 lbs) who had just committed a "strong arm robbery" (a felony)which the officer knew about before he shot him, when the man refused to obey a police officer to get out of the middle of the road, and when the officer tried to get out of his patrol car, the African-American man pushed the officer back into his car and beat the crap out of him (a felony), including enough force to break his right Orbital Socket (eye socket), and tried to take the officer's gun (which is yet another felony). The officer got control of the gun, but not before a shot was fired. When the officer got out of the car, he told the man to freeze, who after he turned around and taunted the police officer, charged the officer, and the officer, in self defense, started firing at the man, eventually killing him.

And now Sharpton is screaming for justice for Michael Brown. Michael Brown is responsible, and he alone is responsible, and Michael Brown, was high on marijuana (yet another crime) at the time of the crime, CHOSE to attack this valiant Police Officer, who totally acted in self defense when he shot Michael Brown.

He likes to make people think that the world is out to get them, and he has all the answers. The only answer is to grow up, get a job, and stay out of trouble. Anyone can do it! All problems solved.

@Mr_D_ElPaso I don't like Al Sharpton anymore than you do, but to use words like "his own people" in that context is racism.

Thr are two kinds of people and racism, the ones that admit it, and the ones that lie about it. Thr is no crime in either one, Its a free country every one has a right to thr own opinion, and you cant force people to like some one, no matter what the reason, Most of that problem that keeps all this trouble alive is the NEWS MEDIA and WASHINGTON DC And we can do without both.

While it's generally agreed that Al Sharpton is a trouble-maker rather than a problem-solver, who tends to exploit racially-charged/explosive situations for his own ends and agenda, the problems at hand aren't caused by Al Sharpton, but exacerbated by him.

Having said the above, I firmly believe that there's a HUGE difference between causing a problem or problems and exacerbating them:

To cause a problem is to cause something to be there that was not there beforehand.

Exacerbating a problem or problems, on the other hand means to make already-existing problems or circumstances worse.

Al Sharpton helps no situations. He would do his causes a service by keeping quiet and staying out of sight.

An ignorant race hustler whose agenda becomes so much more evil and obnoxious when bumped up against men like Capt Johnson and other Black community leaders there trying to keep the peeps under control.

    Truly embarrassing !!

Al Sharpton is a dirt bag and has always been a dirt bag. He is a man who has spent a lifetime promote racism and the fact that he is close to Obama comes as no surprise. Anyone who spent years listening to the Reverend Wright would be close to Sharpton not only in thoughts but in deeds.

The sooner he throws all the logs on the hate fire, the sooner they will burn to ashes, and we can start cleaning up.

Why does this clown along with holder or obama not make a trip to Shitcago where blacks are killing each other daily ?Why?Because they could careless as long as its them killing their own.How sad and transparent is that? These are young lives lost every day and where are they to confront the killings ?In small town Ferguson .Death to blacks only matter when someone white is the taker of life.

--@ProudTexican ----Al Sharpton has a Twitter account. I have sent him messages on Twitter, but he don't have the intestinal fortitude to answer me back.

Why don't you, yourself, go to Chicago? You seem to be saying you care about the blacks killing each other there. But are you going there? Actions speak far louder than words. Al Sharpton may very well be scum, but he at least isn't talking about going somewhere he's not going to go. Unlike you.

@maskedtex Intestinal fortitude isn't measured by what tweets you reply to. It's measured by what tweets you can read without puking.

The man makes his living in the divide between races. If there is no strife then he fades away . So he creates drama to further himself. So no he isn't helping .

@McDuck so who is the racist in this story? I'm pretty sure no facts have come out so to label a man a racist because he is white makes me wonder who the racist really is.

He's not been his usual asinine self. But him, Jackson, Holder etc should just let the situation play out rather than sticking their noses where they aren't needed.

    Quite simply..."NO".

Bill O'Reilly speaks to Mr. Sharpton, Mr. Jackson and others about and what they can do to change the statistics of young black men being killed. They need to become an aid in healing instead of merely being a tool to profit (both financially and politically) off the deaths of these young men.

It's events like these that highlight how lost and backwards inner-city, black communities are. Luckily for them and the white racists that prop them up, I left 5 years ago. If you're driving towards tall buildings, you're going the wrong way.
