So this liberal women's coalitions is going after Romney as s job killer based on a misperception that the GOP protects the rich and Dems don't? But Romney is the job killer? Good thing Obama hasn't screwed up the unemployment rate to 8.5%

I don't have children, and have never terminated a pregnancy. This is why more women need to be in the work force. Unlike men, we don't jump to conclusions, attack, and make decisions based on haste and aggression like many men on this forum...

    Holy Sexist Batman!

    Can you overgeneralize anymore?

Your view of the world is too simplistic for me to even know where to begin to debate the issues with you.

I don't think too many independent female voters are impressed with anything NOW, Emily's List and their ilk put forward. I know a fair number of self-described feminists who find all those groups embarrassing.

Women are usually considered the more cerebral of the sexes, who knew they could be so easily mesmerized by this "war on women" refrain. I'm glad that even though i'm a male I can still identify with a segment of society that knows no limits on race gender wealth etc.

I say GIVE ROMNEY A CHANCE. We gave Obama a chance and we weren't given the change and hope we were promised. I don't want to hear about how it will take more than four years for him to fix what Bush screwed up. They both screwed us over. OUT WITH THE OLD AND IN WITH THE NEW!

If a woman bases her vote on whether or not they receive "free" birth control or "free" abortions, then what does it say about them? Looking passed the morality and religious belief of either issue, you are basing your decision on what someone else would provide you? Doesn't that slap women's liberation and the entire movement in the face? You are beginning on the Road to Serfdom, which I recommend everyone reads by FA Hayek. It's only 43 pages and outlines socialism and central planning and how it crushes freedom

I appreciate everyone's vehement posts following mine. Instead of maligning and stereotyping others on this forum, I encourage you all to read about times in history such as folkloric times in Northern France when women acted as leaders and healers in their communities. I then encourage you to think critically, with upbringing and religion pushed aside, about which presidential candidate will allow for women to have opportunites for power. Amen.

WOW! Today must be get down on feminists day! It's a good day to be a gay male!
Otherwise, I used to be middle class, now I'm poor. And this happened BEFORE Obama was in the White House. Obama may not have done much (yet anyway) to get us out of this mess, but I'll always remember it was the Repubicans who got us into this. And all their masters on Wall Street.
And don't forget, Reagon dealt the first death blow to the middle class, Dum Dum junior Bush just was there for the follow through.

Bull crap, democrats have not worked for anything other than socialism for the last 40 years. They want NO accountability, NO personal responsibility and for EVERY inequality, they want someONE to blame.

We feminists will have the last laugh, with a hint of frustration, when our households need a second income, need us to work, but because of decreased opportunities for women, and less daycare options due to Romney's policies, we can't find jobs!

If we didn't have to pay for other peoples daycare while they're "looking for a job", maybe many wouldn't need a second income!!!! Why would I want to pay even more taxes to take care of your kids???? Don't have kids if you can't afford them. Just abort them like you liberals want to, instead of being responsible.

I don't care what you have between your legs...

Your rights end where mine begin. If your "right" makes demands on others' time or money... it is not a "right". It is an "entitlement".

Feminists' demands on small business owners and coworkers amount to demands on their time and money.

We can argue about "women's entitlements" if you want. But I refuse to let feminists get away with deceptive language and ideas that amount to discrimination against employers and men.

Maybe your definition of "need" for a 2nd income is out of line. Why don't you do with a little less and stay home with your child instead of leaving him with someone else to raise? A new car every 2 years is not a need; a 62" flat screen TV is not a need. Learn to live within your means...your child will appreciate your time a lot more than he will your pick up McDonalds dinner because you don't have time to prepare real food.

Wow you have a lot of people attacking you with chastising replies, you must have said something that struck a nerve. I think it's hilarious that some of those that proclaim themselves as being both pro-life and Republicans do not approve of abortion, contraception, day-care, planned parenthood (in any of it's form, including reproductive health for women) and then think they have a right to have sex with anyone they please. Didn't you know that if you are employed and a parent that you have no rights or "job entitlements" unless you are also a hypocritical Republican? It is like that Meghan lady on Fox news changed her tune on some of these issues once she became a mother and discovered how hard it was to both work and be a mother at the same time. In these times, in certain regions where there aren't already many employment opportunities, there are many families who can't make it without both parents working, and if one can't, sometimes they don't make enough and those usually they have to be on some form of welfare. Some of these people's comments are so unrealistic or either they have been economically fortunate enough to not comprehend out of not having ever had been there that there are a good deal of people out there who do work, make under $20k a year, and don't have it so easy financially. This is a reality. If people are in a situation where they or their mate doesn't have to go work to have all their needs met and some of their wants, then they're probably a little spoiled and "entitled." Besides, daycare...provides jobs for others who in turn pay taxes...that is in my opinion better than those who outsource our jobs to foreigners who pay no taxes.

    Ok, let's break this down...

You said: "Wow you have a lot of people attacking you with chastising replies, you must have said something that struck a nerve."

Yes. She did say something that struck a chord. She seems to think that women have more of a right to a job than men. That screams of someone that wants to discriminate against men. Do you? Let's read on and find out...

You said: "I think it's hilarious that some of those that proclaim themselves as being both pro-life and Republicans do not approve of abortion, contraception, day-care, planned parenthood (in any of it's form, including reproductive health for women) and then think they have a right to have sex with anyone they please."

Straw Man. Utterly pointless to respond... Let's continue...

You said: "Didn't you know......that is in my opinion better than those who outsource our jobs to foreigners who pay no taxes."

Nobody said being a parent was easy. But you seem to be catching on that many of the "rights" that people try to lay claim to like free healthcare or daycare or whatever else is not a "right" if it makes demands on others.

If it does? It's an "entitlement".

Rights are free. Entitlements are already bankrupting America. More on top of what we already have will only make matters worse. And last I checked, female American citizens live in America too.

You cabn't be against the things that keep a woman working and turn around and say you are pro-woman. It don't work that way. Women use abortion to stay on the job and in college. Taking it away as a choice as Mississippi is doing hurts working women.

Romeny wants to restrict abortion, it is that simple.

Subsidizing day care for poor women allows them to work. Republicans want to reduce that funding which in turn prevents women from working.

From the Source article at TPM

"The National Organization for Women, Feminist Majority, the National Congress of Black Women and U.S. Women Connect all stressed that the stakes are high and the contrast between the 2012 candidates is stark."

US Women Connect is maybe one that you can't see a Leftist bias. Check out their About Us page.
    http://www.uswc.org/about.html

"U S WOMEN CONNECT is the organizational daughter of the Global Gender Agenda, begun by the United Nations in its Charter"

UN... global.... wow... Why am I not surprised.

Then there is this gem of "Class Warfare" rhetoric from EMILY's List

"We’re not “terribly worried,” said Lisa Grove, a progressive pollster conducting polls and focus groups for EMILY’s List... By wide margins, independent women see Republicans as protecting “the rich and big corporations” while, by equally large margins, Democrats were seen as “[C]ommitted to holding millionaires and billionaires accountable for paying their fair share” and “[W]orking to build an economy that works for the middle class,” according to the EMILY’s List presentation."

I suppose they believe Romney will take $800 billion dollars out of their taxes and give them to his political favorites. Or maybe he'll launch an unnecessary war into Libya. Or maybe, he'll fund a bankrupt solar panel company with government money. Or maybe he'll screw things up so bad that people will become used to a +8% unemployment rate. Or maybe...
