well obama and pelosi should not have wasted the millions on sucking up to the muslim brotherhood, instead they should have used those funds to secure the embassy.so i guess using that line of thought obama and crew were responseable for embassy non-securement and for actually paying the muslim terrorists to do their deeds

Oh for heaven's sake, poor Nancy has had one face lift too many, she's replaced her brain with her navel! This blame Bush for everything is getting hysterically funny. It's bad enough that Barry has blamed everything on Bush from the Tsunami to the drought, but this tactic has gotten so old and so ridiculous that even some of the mainstream media are starting to look at them strangely when they trot out this tired old excuse. Nancy has been around way too long, she's turning into the Robert Byrd of Congress, she makes no sense and seems to have no clue. It's a pity, but she will keep getting reelected by the nuts out in SF.

"This blame Bush for everything is getting hysterically funny." And it would be if she had done that. She was blaming it on the current Republican-controlled House of Representatives.

But since you mentioned He Who Must Not Be Named, Happy Birthday to the Toxic Asset Recovery Program, TARP, that turns 4 years old today.

@DARSB , gotcha, I was referring to the administration blaming everything on Bush, sorry if I wasn't clear. But you have to admit it's very funny. Obama whines about he couldn't get anything done when he had a filibuster proof majority for two entire years, there was no other way Obamacare, as it is written, would ever have passed otherwise. Have a good evening.

@Tralee That "FILIBUSTER PROOF MAJORITY" meme needs to die. For starters, the GOP tied up Al Franken's win in Minnesota for 7 months. Robert Byrd spent most of that two years in the hospital before he died, and Ted Kennedy was out of action with brain cancer during the same period. If I recall the timeline correctly the 60 "filibuster-proofing " votes were available to Democrats for something like 4 months - and then Scott Brown was elected in Massachusetts.

@DARSB except it was Franken who tied everything up while the Minnesota Dems found 'new' votes for him.

Must be depressing spending all your time making excuses and blaming others for your party and president's shortcomings

@Canoochee Glad to see you aren't contradicting the content of the post describing the "filibuster-proof majority" myth. And FYI - I don't have a "party." I'm an unaffiliated voter.

"...this story which directly contradicts the Obama administration’s first two weeks of their response to the origins of this attack, seems to have generated little interest in the media.

The same cannot be said of Congressional Republicans who are demanding clarification from the Obama administration about the details of the attack that resulted in the death of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three of his colleagues."

It seems that truth has become a difficult to find commodity nowdays.

We have lost good people and our "leadership", until recently, was blaming a video clip on the internet.

Where are the real leaders? Where are the real men?

    My God.

What has become of our country?

If this is true then it was probably because the house has been trying to stop the current administration from bleeding money we don't have at every turn.

If you really want to look at it that way...then we can point the finger at both republicans and democrats who have been mismanaging and overspending money for decades now. It is "politics as usual" which has gone on unchecked for a long time now which is largely to blame for the current economic woes. No one person or party is to blame, they are all to blame. Until people wake up and figure out that the two party system is killing this nation, things will only continue to get worse.

The president. The "Commander in Chief". The Mr. Privilege executive order man himself. Knew something was wrong 24 hours in advance.
Yet another failure that cannot be admitted. No way. No shape.
    No form.
Obama has and had the ultimate power to have sent military with live ammo to our embassies. He chose to ignore the date and the threat.

I notice she didn't mention the fact that she and her party controlled both branches of Congress from 2008-2010 and couldn't manage to pass a budget.

The Ambassador's security on 9/11, who was in a every exposed position, was two former Seals and a hand full of Libyans with walkie-talkies and it's Republicans fault. That is almost as bad as our Presidents forceful response the next day. Fly to a Las Vegas for a fund raiser.

The President never leaves the immediate neighborhood of the White House because it flies with him. It's called Air Force One. So quit harping about where he was on a certain day. His finger is ALWAYS on the pulse.

Four dead Americans, our Ambassador dragged through the streets by his heels, our chancellery in Benghazi still smoldering and our President in an interview the next day with 60 Minutes described the events as a "bump in the road". It's not he does not know what's going on. It's he did not care.

Let me get this straight. The Obama regime was warned that attacks from Al-Qaeda were coming. Because the eeevvilll Republicans had cut funding for security (all by themselves mind you) the regime didn't bother to warn the anbassador and the embassy staff to get the hell out because no additional protection was available? The last time I looked a detachment of Marines on the ground where they were needed would already have their necessary "funding".

It is really astonishing how she can be so incredably dumb and still be in Congress. Has San Fran gone that far to the "crazy" ?? Where are the decent democrats ???
