It's gonna take a whole lot more than a little debate to convince me that Obama is a good thing for this country! Btw, I personally think Romney won the debate, he was way clearer, honest, and specific than Obama was, and he had cut down Obama a couple of times to, the only thing Obama had was his remark on the Navy, but that seems to be the only thing that people pay attention to. They don't look at how great Romney did at all.

NO,I'm sick of debates and politicians. I voted already and now I'm done. I fell asleep last night, it's all starting
to sound the same, like a big Gong...still have the signs up, but, I'm tired of the debates, games, politicking...
call it what you will, I'll be happy when it's over and Romney wins...

Wish we'd gotten absentee ballots...if people are still undecided at this point, they probably won't even vote. I don't believe them. Romney/Ryan 2012

@Sonny ... Ok, you're funny! Better than Obama's one liners unless he's practicing for comedian instead of president.

    Yeah, the Obama regulars. LOL
I Guess the majority of what's left would be called...ummm...the worker bees?!? Lol
Nope. Romney's points were well taken. My vote on topix still stands.
    Romney won in my eyes.

I watched the debate too and it was a soft push of everything we already know. Not impressed . For someone to say obama crushed anything can only reflect ones similar low standards in life. Obama was treding water and gave NO positive reason to let him continue to mismanage this country for another four years.

    !
@marine1 you said a mouthful there. Some people have grown accustomed to small tid bits of goodness, because of all the badness these past four years. The only thing Obama has going for him is "I killed osama". When in reality anyone who had the opportunity to do so, would have.
Oboma is going to really try to make some positive changes in these next few days until Election Day, thinking maybe Americans are too stupid to remember what these four years have done to most of us. I will take advantage of everything he offers. We are due a whole lot. And deserve a whole lot more from someone who was suppose to be a leader, not a dictator. Freedom, not tied down and wondering how we are going to make the bills and eat for this week, or that week. We work hard, and try to make a dollar bill do the job of twenty, while the generational dependent on government lives worry free about food or housing or electric bills, and many more perks. And come November. I sure will not forget.
    Romney will get my vote.

Here is a pretty informative website. I have been going thru it, and it just has a feel, of..a breath of fresh air. It's got all of Romney's plans, plus obamas failures.

@Just_Lisa I noticed that on your link there wasn't an area that discussed his plans on the Patriot Act and NDAA 12. I'm sure this is just an oversight right?
I mean the man wanting the big job surely didn't forget about the biggest crap taken on the US Constitution in American history... Right?

@Just_Lisa Oh I know where he stands on the issue. It just saddens me that his rabid supporters don't or don't care, one.
Spoiler Alert! He doesn't care. He'd add to Government power if he could and likely will.

The President, with an impressive foreign affairs record, clearly outclassed Romney, who has virtually no foreign experience beyond insulting Britain during the Olympics, having a Swiss bank account, investments in the Caribbean--and, of course, sending jobs to China.

@Jim49418 Other than insulting london during the olympics and having a lot of money in China, what exactly does romny have?

Not going to make much difference, if any at all, at this point in the campaign. Even if Obama did "beat" Romney on debate points, Romney was the more presidential and showed he could be leader of the USA. Obama had the advantage in this debate but Romney held his own and did not fall for Obama's childish displays and one liners.

Last I checked being presidential requires having principles. All Romney did was spout platitudes and agree with the policies he's been railing against all campaign. If I were a republican I would be furious at the Romney for walking back most of his previous positions.

@Fool ...I'm not a republican...and I'm perfectly ok with a more moderate Romney if that's what's required to send Obama packing.
  • #65
    !
@ACTSmom I might agree if I could believe Romney was truly moderate, but I'm not sure where he stands. I've watched the race since the Republican primaries began and the first time I saw "centrist Romeny" was at the first debate. I believe he is who he says he is, but if I took him at his word for everything he's said he stands for I would be forced to conclude he's schizophrenic. I'm not even sure he knows who he is anymore. I'd like to think he's a Massachusetts moderate, and maybe he is at heart, but he's made so many promises to the far right in the primaries that I don't think he can come back without an outright revolt.

Poor Romney. Just proved to me more that he's no more capable than Obama of running a country. I already knew that tho. Yeah he definitely lost this debate by a pretty considerable margin. But he did when the first by a few points and I think we are all sick of obama. Obama did also definitely have the advantage, but wow what a spanking.

Disagree, I believe it will be in favor of Romney. His behavior was perfect! He was confident and knowledgeable!

What I found interesting in the debates is how much the conservatives are ignoring Romney's skewing to the center and even to the left. The main point that conservatives reiterate was, yea as a matter of fact he lost the debate ... but he sure looked presidential doing it??!!!

Actually, I really am undecided. I dislike both major party candidates equally. This will be like choosing the lesser of the two evils. So, yes, there are really undecided voters and more than you think. I am neither uninformed nor apathetic. I take my right to vote extremely seriously.

I think, Obama had facts that put Romney on the defensive. Should Mittens win, he'll be briefed by the President like Obama was briefed by George 43. Then, Mittens, then knowing what he knows after the 'BRIEF' he'll be as helpless to change anything in the Mid-east like Obama really is capable now. I talked to someone at breakfast.

Judging from the relatively smooth performance of my YouTube stream I'd guess way fewer folks were watching last night. So, no, this one won't influence as many directly - but as it's talked about and dissected that may have an effect on the 4 or 5 undecided voters left.

what a laugh owebama couldn't win a debate against a bAg of hammers .he sure as hell did not act presidential intruding and being sarcastically arrogant . On the other hand Romney did in fact appear presidential in his ability to explain his position and accepting responsibility for policies as gov .Romney also clearly shows the ability to build bipartisan relationships and solutions to the problems this country faces

Are you kidding me? MSM focus group after MSM focus group sided with Romney. Romney still over the margin of error in most polls, or tied in swing states. Obama didn't crush anything but his own ego

I don't have a dog in this race but I was laughing my a$$ off. Poor Rom was on the receiving end of prolly the worst spanking I've ever seen on a debate. Felt sorry for the poor fella. Looked in over his head. Still not voting Obama, but he was far superior to the Gov. Maybe Rom just had a lack of experience in that area???
