It won't make any difference. Those who are going to vote for Obama don't care and those that aren't voting for him, well, aren't voting for him anyways. Any independents left at this point probably won't vote at all or will vote on a whim.

Your right everyone's already decided on who there voting for. I don't think anybody can be persuaded to change there mind set at this point.

coke dealer or not we now know that he is absolutely a liar. with the release of the emails coming out of Libya during the attack it is rock solid proof that the administration knew that our people were under attack on 911 and they knew while the attack was still underway . they had time to move fast teams to intervene on behalf of Americans against Islamic terrorists but they chose the side of the Islamic terrorists. those who still support these traitors should at least be honest and condemn the actions of a coward in the White House, who chose to watch Americans be slaughtered for fear of aggravating his new friends in the Muslim world. the story that he may have been a scumbag drug dealer, however believable is irrelevant.

This has turned into the sleaziest election year I have ever witnessed.

The failing two party system, along with all the idiotic name calling and bullshit accusations almost make me ashamed to be an American.

Good Lord man, no wonder there is so much apathy in potential voters.

@Cheenoguy I'm a republican because I beleive in personal freedom. I am 90/10 in agreement with the platform so I always vote conservative, even though in my opinion the war on drugs has been a failure. Pot is a gateway drug, no doubt about it, but as compared to alcohol, lots less problems, other than law enforcement busting in on people doing bong hits and playing xbox and putting themselves on a pedastal. They dont normally do that with coke dealers, they have uzis, the cops might get hurt. But either way in my opinion, people are going to use drugs for whatever thier personal reason is for escaping the world, most people dont drink and use drugs because its fun, theres something eating at them that needs to be taken care of. But we might as well get the dealers out of the equation by re-legalizing weed, it was legal until they made it illegal, and regulating coke and heroin, and letting the jail cells fill back up with people who should be there.

Absolutely not. He may have, he does have a history of drug use while in high school. This he admitted himself, and he did mention that he took coke along with other drugs and alcohol. But, just as I thought bringing up Bush's very old DUI just before the election was a cheap shot, this too would be a cheap shot. I prefer my president to be more adult than the liberals are. THEY would do this about Romney if they could, I'm still waiting for some unknown woman to come forward and throw out some charge that Romney either had an affair with her or made her have an abortion. It won't be true, but with libs. it's never the seriousness of the crime, it's just the seriousness of the charge. Just enough to try to swing the election. Wait and see, it may still happen.

Tralee, just when I find myself agreeing with you, you go off on another "all liberals are evil" rant. Now you're just making stuff up and putting it down here as if it were already fact. Here's a FACT for you: Al Gore refused to run with the "Bush was a coke head" smear back in 2000. He had every bit as much integrity then as Romney is showing now. Try to be fair, at least once in a while.

@Denizen_Kate Hide and watch Katie, castigate me when this is all over and no supposed dirt is "found" on Romney. That's exactly how Obama won his State Senate seat (digging into sealed records that suddenly became unsealed) by releasing sealed divorce records of his competition and that's exactly how Obama got rid of his competition for the US Senate seat. Nope, unfortunately Obama and his machine have a very public and very documented track record. Something supposedly damaging will come out, mark my words. Otherwise, If you are right, I'll take a liberal to lunch on me!

@Denizen_Kate I'm always fair and I don't hate the man, I don't know him, I dislike his policies very much, there is a difference. Face it Katie, you are no less biased against Romney than I am against Obama. My comments, are about Obama and his administration, they tend to be based on past performance. Obama did do the dirty on his opponents to get both seats, that's just a fact and since leopards seldom change their spots, it's better to be forewarned than to be caught off guard. Again, wait and see, okay? We can compare notes after the election.

"...the Romney campaign apparently won't touch the cocaine-related hearsay with a ten foot straw."

"Romney's folks "didn't want anything to do with it," nor did they want their candidate "smeared with this type of activity."

    Agreed.

Actually I've been getting a lot of emails about this, and that he was also in a gang when he lived in Hawaii. However, he was young and I also did crazy things when I was young, as do most teens and young adults.
I am no fan of Obama's by any stretch, but I think Romney's silence on the issue speaks volumes of his integrity,
and that's what I hope we will have is a President with integrity...

@mimi57 Did it speak volumes about Obama for not commenting on Romney pinning a kid down a forcefully cutting his hair?
  • #63

@AceLuby That's a ridiculous statement, I had all boys and trust me, I'm sure they did worse than that ! Boys
will be boys and I didn't raise no "sissy" boys...maybe the kid needed a hair-cut. See, I try to give you Dems the
benefit of doubt and you come back with that!?...

@AceLuby (A) Keep in mind it was a gay kid.
    (B) This is only a story if Obama stepped on it.....OR.....jacked-up the price for the white guy.

If Trump is going to do it...why should the Romney camp have anything to do with it? There really is no need for them to put their two cents in. Just sit back and watch what happens.

Romney shouldn't waste his efforts on this...let Trump spend his money and time and if something comes out of it, fine. Romney has other things to do...no game playing. I wouldn't doubt anything...
