Amazing isn't it? Maddow dresses like a man, cuts her hair like a man and is insulted when someone mistakes her for a male?

@Canoochee I know that those on the right are often quite intellectually challenged but when you someone's name is Rachel it is a pretty good bet that they are female.

Ms. Maddow is one of the most polite and considerate pundits in the game. And please note she was not the party who called this reporter on the slur.

@AceLuby @PNWest @jamie91 I am not above admitting when I am wrong. Nor do I try and change the subject or deflect the conversation by insulting my opponents when my argument is bereft of facts.

Despite several minutes on google I can find no reference to Maddow saying anything worse than calling some of his fellow citizens 'Teabaggers.'

Maddow has no problem dishing it out, but can't take it herself. What's that bible verse? "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
  • #51

    1. Ms Maddow is not the person who criticized the reporter, 2. Some evidence supporting your claim of Ms. Maddow "dishing it out" would go a long way toward you no longer looking like a putz.

Mad Cow isnt a guy? LOL!!!!!!

Should Obama have admitted to sending Susan Rice out to lie BEFORE the
    election?

Leftists like Mad cow should all be fired!!!

Mountain out of a molehill. There is no harassment and no bullying. As a Christian I read worse slurs against my beliefs daily right here on Politix.

I did hear from a very reliable source..MSNBC, that she's going to play the part of Harry in the next movie, It's
titled "Harry Potter and the Benghazi Cover-up", and then another one to follow "Harry Potter Returns- Wearing
General Petreaus's Lost Shirt". Why does that man have such a hard name to spell?! lol

@mimi57 I've just got to say that the surgery agrees with Jm J. Bullock. He looks 25 years-younger as a woman, and with this new Harry Potter-film, he can finally move past Hollywood Squares.

@GetAwake LOL...I had to google his picture, I didn't know who he was...that was before my time!!!(:
I did remember him from Hollywood Squares. The black/blue glasses just set off the look perfectly.. Speaking of Hollywood Squares, did you know Jonathan Winters is still alive?... I thought he died years ago..But, yeah, it's
amazing what Botox can do !

@mimi57 I had no idea Mork's son was still living...but seriously: WTF is the big deal here? They're on FB comparing this remark to anti-semitism. Really? Go look at Maddow's HS yearbook photo. She has put a lot of work into looking dudely, and sure- the "Where's Waldo"-look doesn't take a heckuva-lot of effort, but COME ON. It's like someone wearing a dildo for a hat and then getting offended when you call them a d**khead.

@GetAwake Also, if she wore a red striped shirt, she'd look like Waldo, remember him? He was always in
a crowd of people and you had to find him...

Yeah, she should apologize...to all the men in the world.......I'm insulted because I refuse to be lumped in with any group that includes Maddow, except that we are both human.......And we both like women........
  • #58
    !
Yes, an apology was called for and a bottle of fine wine should follow. That being said, Rachel Maddow has a way of flapping that is very annoying to me. She sounds as though she has
uncovered the most astonishing news, and all it mostly turns out to be only news, nothing special. And I think to myself-- "there she go's again, flapping in the breeze." However, she works at the perfect tv station for that sort of thing.

Who cares. Did one of the 15 people who actually watch that channel get offended? What's the address of the nursing home those viewers are at. I'll go and change the channel for them.
Send over Anderson Cooper, they can have a sleep over and talk about how bad gays are treated in this country compared to other parts of the world.
If madcow can be big, bad and tough and say what she wants, then she should stand up like a "man" and take it right back. If she can't do that, then maybe she should consider a new career. Maybe porn!!

Actually, LOTS of people watch FOX19 nationwide...that's the home of Ben Swann. In fact, Tricia is the hot 40-ish blonde that introduces the "Ben Swann Reality Check". Polidix sure as 5hit doesn't want you to know this, but WXIX is NOT owned by FOX/NewsCorp...it's an independent affiliate owned by Raycom. The story SOUNDS better from their perspective if you were to assume that WXIX is FOX-owned.
  • #95
    !
@GetAwake Correct. My comment on the "15 viewers" was directed towards MSNBC. I reread my post and can see where it wasn't clear on that point, and yes politix clearly doesn't want a lot of truths to be known on most of their "journalistic" stories.

I don't watch his/her show...does it really matter if someone called her a man? I would think she'd take that as
compliment, as she tries so hard to look like one. Anyway, I can't get past the liberal bias she spews and facts
are not in her vocabulary...MSNBC is the worst "news" show on the air, it's a joke!

I'd like to know that myself. At what point did Madcow earn special credit for her feelings? You raise a good point in that she has tried to look like a man. From the Harry Potter hair cut to the black turtle necks designed to hide her profile from the side (yes i'm talking about the ta ta's). So congrats to you Rachel, you made it. I've yet to see anyone on here explain how her feelings deserve credit, and no one is supposed to acknowledge anything she has done to hurt other people.

@Calfkiller She wants to look and act like a man and then gets mad if someone calls her one...Go figure?!
She's just an attention seeking Harry Potter look alike...Darn, I knew she reminded me of someone, thanks for
    reminding me who it is.(:

do you realise how many women wear their hair short? i was looking just now at the shape of her face and, quite frankly, if her hair were long she'd look sort of like a cocker spaniel. she's very pretty with short hair... very feminine. now, please explain why it matters so much to you?

If I didn't know any better and saw that picture at a glance I would have to concur that Rachel Madcow looks (not to mention acts) like an angry young man.
  • #60

well, to be quite frank, i really didn't know much about what she looked like so i looked her up on google images. from what i see she's an extremely attractive young lady.

@dances-weebles I wouldn't be Frank. if I thought she was attractive and wanted to get her attention I would be Fran. You'd probably get farther.

@Calfkiller and your point being? it seems that all y'all seem to believe that all this makes a difference. she doesn't appear 'manly' and just because she's lesbian isn't a reason for people to cast aspersions. i mean, good lord. her sexuality isn't an area for contention, is it?
  • #90
    !
@dances-weebles the point is that if she were not a liberal no one would care. If she had said something equally offensive about anyone opposed to the left, it would either be ignored or agreed with by the libs in this country.
  • #91
    !
@dances-weebles It's nothing to the left to run around screaming racism every time someone is unwilling to agree with Obama. Or any other label that's applied to anyone that the left deems a threat. But God forbid anyone say anything derogatory about a lesbian.

What the anchor said sounds about right to me.Maddow has called people that she doesn't agree with (mainly republicans) a whole lot worst. She has attacked them on a personal/family level many times before.IE: Typical peace loving liberal,LOL.

@PNWest No I don't see. Congratulations on the victory by the way. Hope the fillets and champagne were good. Know that we've got that out of the way, you can't sit here and tell me that Rachel Madcow has not said far more inflammatory crap than some no name reporter/anchor or whatever title they go by. The difference is that Madcow is known nation wide for her snarky little emotional tirades. So what? she didn't get asked to go to the prom? Never even got considered to be in a beauty pageant? What? you tell me. Because I would like to understand at what point her feelings and staged idignation erase the track record of insults and lies she has spewed on national television.

Any word on whether she threatened to punch the reporter out? Anyone ever considered that at the time the reporter did not realize Maddow was a woman?

I am sure that she, just as I, could improve our appearance with a modicum of effort; she chooses not to, for her own reasons. That withstanding, just as a male applicant with a ponytail & tatoos chooses to make a statement, and therefore isn't taken seriously, so she chooses. Boo hooo, I want to make a statement that has already been made and now knowbody likes it! When in rome ...
